Making a 'new chapter'.
When people see an update of a chapter from a story they really like, the don't want to see an author's note. Make small authors note at the end of a chapter, sure, but if you make a story that everyone loves so much and you stop making a chapter for about.. 3 months (for example), and you finally make a new update, everyone wants to see a NEW CHAPTER! NOTE AN AUTHOR'S NOT ABOUT HOW YOU'RE NOT GOING TO UPDATE ANYMORE!
I mean, it's like a shot through the heart. There are so many people who hate that, and annoys them (myself included). So if you really want to annoy wattpad users..
>Make a story
>Let it get really popular before you stop updating
>3 months of no updating
>Make an author's note on how you're not going to update anymore
>Wait for all the upset users piling in.
