It's sometimes annoying when you make a cover that has nothing to do with the actual story. It just makes people wonder why on earth did you do that. I mean, if you're writing about a love story about OCs, and you add (for example) a picture of a weird photo shopped picture of Kim Kardashian, people will be annoyed about it. They'll just get confused on why is that the cover, and might even ask you to change it to something more relatable.
