I didnt want the first chapter to be really long lol
When it came time for the interviews Ashton went first. His interview only took fifteen minuets, that made me nervous. He walked out of the interviewing room beaming, and laughing along with a tall, Asian looking man.
"It was great seeing you ,Ash, I'm excited for what's to come." the man added.
"You too Calum. Thank you so much for this." Ash concluded. Something tells me they know eachother. This only increases my nervousness.
"Alright, Renee?" Calum asked looking at me.
"Yep, that's me." I smiled while standing up.
"Have fun." Ashton whisperd while taking a seat.
Calum and I walked down the hallway silently. He opened a door to me revealing a brick room covered in posters with instruments and a table with a few black chairs surrounding the table. The atmosphere of the whole office building was so relaxed, and chill. The atmosphere alone only made me want the job more.
"Alright, Renee, my name is Calum Hood. I co-own this magazine, and I'm the one who is 'interviewing' you today." he stated with air quotes around interview.
"Why the air quotes?" I asked.
"I'll be getting to that in a moment. Anyway, let me just say I really liked your application, I like your writing style. Basically you already have the job." he laughed.
"Oh my God, thank you so much." I giggled.
"We decided we needed a writing team for our reviews, and interviews. After reading both you and Ashtons applications, I thought you two would do well together for the job." he smiled.
For the next 15 minuets we chatted about everything I needed to know about the job. Once we were done we walked down the hallway laughing.
"Alright my newest team." Calum smirked, "I suggest you get to know eachother before you're first day."
