I was staring at the tiles directly in front of the door Leigh went in when I saw the familiar dark gray converse. As I looked up I saw her eyes glistening but not the way I enjoyed. I fumbled around and got up tripping over myself more than once before I reached her and pulled her into a hug. "Shhhhh..." I whispered rubbing her back "its gonna be alright we will get through this I promise you" Bradleigh began sobbing into my chest and it killed me inside. But this is what she wanted and I had to support that.

Instead of making Bradleigh stand here and let everyone see her at her weakest I pulled away and wiped her years dry with my thumbs "its okay darling. It's okay" I said before picking her up bridal style carrying her out to the car as she began hysterically crying again clutching into my red flannel and cuddling into my chest. I gently set her into the car and stood between her legs cupping her face in my hands wiping away any and all tears that fell. "Baby you need to calm down or you will make yourself sick" Bradleigh tried to take a few deep breaths before finally calming down and collapsing into Michaels shoulder as he rubbed her back trying to soothe her.

Bradleigh tool a few moments to get ahold of herself, and when she was finally breathing normally she spoke although it was barely audible "I'm ready to go home now."

"Alright princess. Ill get you home as soon as possible." I said as I shut Bradleigh's door and ran around the car to the drivers side and hopped in. "We are on our way baby just a few minutes" I said as I put my hand on her thigh for comfort. All she could do was smile weakly at me and that's when I knew she was broken beyond repair.
