It was 6:30 in the evening when I decided it was time to get Bradleigh up. "Hey Leigh" I said gently rubbing her arm in attempt to wake her. Her eyes fluttered open moments later and I gave her a soft smile "hey baby, are you hungry?" She just smiled and nodded sitting up. I sat down beside her and wrapped an arm around her waist. "What would you like for dinner tonight hun?"
A huge grin appeared on her face and I knew what was about to follow "Chinese!" She said enthusiastically.
"Alright." I shrugged just happy that she was happy for the first time today. I got up and walked into the kitchen grabbing the Panda Express menu and grabbing the house phone. "Babe," I yelled to Bradleigh who was still in the living room "should we go get it or get it delivered?" When I turned around she was standing right there "oh I didn't realize you were right here" I said chuckling. She stole the menu and set it on the counter reading it and I stood behind her my hands around her waist reading it at the same time. Soon we both knew what we wanted so I called our orders in and Leigh grabbed the keys jingling them in front of my face telling me we would pick it up. When I was done on the phone I ran up behind Leigh and threw her over my shoulder carrying her out the door with the keys and my wallet. We were leaving at least an hour early to get our food but I had planned to just drive for a while because we both needed an escape.
