"Come on [Y/n] you can't honestly say that they weren't hot!" Your best friend squealed as quietly as they could with the brightest smile.
"I mean, maybe just a little but they're not my type." you conclude shaking your head and looking away glancing back towards the waiter who was at another table before looking at the cup in front of you.
"How do you know that? You haven't even spoken to them very long." you friend insisted before looking towards Sebastian who sat across from you. "What do you think Seb?"
"About?"
"Hopeless, you and [Y/n] are both hopeless."
"I mean I just don't know what my opinion would really matter all they said-"
"All they said was that [Y/n] had the most beautiful smile. The smile is the best thing in anything-"
"Okay [B/F/N] that maybe so but what does it really matter? You are asking me to go up to them and ask them out or put out some bogus charm that you seem to think I have to get them to ask me out. I am not desperate and I don't need a romantic partner in my life right now. Besides I literally don't have a smile on my face about 90% of the time, so if they are interested in my smile they aren't getting it often." you argued shaking your head looking off towards a happy couple laughing it away before looking towards somewhere else.
"You're no fun." [B/F/N] claimed crossing their arms and lowering themselves in the chair they sat in. "What do you think Seb? Do you think [Y/n] should smile more? I mean if s/he did then the world would know how beautiful it was and maybe then s/he would actually get some-"
"Seriously?" you asked annoyed at the fact that this lovely day was now all about how you smile. Normally you got the 'your smile is so beautiful you should smile more' from people you had to help out at work, it never was a big thing. At least you never made it a big thing. So what if your smile was nice, what did it matter? Not everyone needed to see it.
"Look all I'm saying is that I don't understand why you don't smile more, with a smile like that you'd totally kill the big screen. Don't you agree Seb?"
"I really don't want to get involved."
"It's beautiful don't you agree?"
"Well yeah but-"
"See so you think s/he should smile more."
"I didn't-"
"Look, one person says it's beautiful and they just happened to be attractive and you go and blow up as if it's the best thing in the world. I don't need a match maker, if I need one I'll let you know. Now I have to go, I actually have things that I need to work on before I go to class." Standing up you grab your bag that you had hanging over you seat and begin to walk away.
"Class isn't for another two days." [B/F/N] complained not moving out of their seat as Sebastian stood up immediately after you grabbed your bag.
"[Y/n]" he called watching you walk away.
You adjusted your jacket when you walked out the door completely and felt the wind blow it's chilly autumn air. You loved this time of season but right now all you wanted to do was go and hide. Sure you had a beautiful smile, but people only thought it was beautiful because they didn't see it all the time. Shoving your hands in your pockets you walked quietly down the block before turning the corner, your eyes cast to watch the ground and watch where you would step.
"Hey. [Y/n]." you heard someone yell but refused to acknowledge it. Turning yet another corner you just wished that they would leave you alone. "[Y/n], wait up."
Tilting your head up you shut your eyes for a few seconds as you stopped with a sigh. Looking back down you shook you head before turning around giving the most unamused face you could. "What?" you asked coldly wanting none of it. Why couldn't you just be left alone to hate the way you are?
"I... I just wanted to make sure you were alright." His voice was soft. His hand rubbed the back of his neck as he looked at you sheepishly before glancing towards the ground.
Sighing and shutting your eyes you lower your head. "I'm sorry Sebastian, I shouldn't have said it like that." you admit before looking back at him seeing him looking at you. "I just don't see what the big deal about my smile and that waiter is, or why it had to turn as big as it did."
"Right."
"I'm fine, to answer the reason you followed me though. You can go back and enjoy the rest of the day over there with [B/F/N] now." You say turning around and starting to walk back the way you were originally going.
"What about you?" he asked trailing after you.
"I'm just going home. I'll work on my history project and every other project that I have and probably just enjoy the quiet." you shrugged.
"Why? If this is because of the waiter we can get someone else-"
"What does the waiter have to do with anything?"
"Well didn't you leave because [B/F/N] wanted to set you up with the waiter?"
"That's what you though? No I left because I was being told that if I would smile more I'd actually have someone."
"Well what's wrong with having someone?" You stop in your tracks and glance towards Sebastian who was turning around since you made such a sudden stop.
"I never said there was anything wrong with it. I'm not going back because there is no point. Even if I smiled more I wouldn't find anyone to be with so there just isn't a point in putting myself out there as much as [B/F/N] thinks I should, I don't have the effort to do that. And further more the only reason people think my smile is so beautiful is because of how little they see it, if they saw it all the time they'd know how normal it is, therefore going out with them just because of the stupid comment they made would be a complete waste of time." you explain before pressing on crossing your arms at this point and passing Sebastian.
"Wait. You think your smile is normal?"
"Yes, everyone can smile and it's all just the same to people. Mine isn't any different."
"Yes it is."
"No it really isn't. It's just a smile that happens less often, seriously."
"No, [Y/n]." you felt his hand grab your arm firmly but still as gentle as possible before forcing you to look at him, holding you in place. You looked at him confused not understanding why this was such a big deal let alone why he hadn't left you alone already. "I mean it, you smile is beautiful and unique. You can't say I'm saying that because I don't see it. I see it all the time, all your smile as beautiful in every way and unique in every way. All the small smirks, tiny smiles, bright smiles, big excited smiles, all of them. Even you frowns, anything your lips do, they are always beautiful just like you." He smiled brightly at you.
"You don't really mean that?" He had to be joking, he couldn't be serious. Even if he wasn't you knew blush had formed over your nose and cheeks from his speech, the idea of Sebastian Stan actually feeling that way just made you heart soar and hurt at the same time.
"It's as true as my heart beats." His smile never wavered staying as bright as ever. One of his hands moved and grabbed one of yours before placing it on his chest. "I'm pretty sure it's beating still." Glancing at both of your hands you swallowed hard but quietly before glancing back up to meet Sebastian's lightly blue eyes. "And I'm also sure it's beating for you."
"Seb..." you started in a whisper looking in his eyes trying to see the lie. There was no way someone as attractive as Sebastian Stan thought that of you, there just was no way in any earth, heaven, or hell, someone like him would be able to feel that way towards you, it was ludicrous.
"[Y/n] I am serious." the hand that held your arm moved to lightly holding your cheek. "I am deeply, truly, in love with everything about you." he said with a serious face before leaning in holding your face still as he placed his lips over your.
The instant his lips touched yours you felt sparks and shut your eyes kissing back. The hand on his chest held onto his jacket while your other hand slipped over the hand he had on your cheek just begging for him not to disappear or run away. By the time he pulled away your cheeks were crimson you were sure.
