Agatha wished she hadn't let Penny talk her into coming back for Simon's 18th. It had barely been a few months since everything that happened at Watford and being in the same country as the school made her nervous even now the Mage was dead. What was worse was that for some god forsaken reason Baz and his minions had been invited so it wasn't even like she could pretend like everything was even sort of normal. What's more was that Baz and Simon had apparently developed some intense friendship bonds because the two had been clinging to each other all night. Talking, snipping, laughing. It was fucking bizarre and not in the good way (not that Agatha thought there was such a thing as good when it came to bizarre things; in her experience there wasn't).

They were at some high end restaurant currently, she imagine Baz was probably the one paying because Simon and Penny were essentially broke as far as she knew. It was nice enough, with leather seats and hung lighting and a bar. Niall especially seemed to be enjoying it a bit too much, they'd been there an hour and he was on his fourth drink. Baz wasnt far behind him, though he did seem to be able to handle his alcohol better. It wasn't until after he'd unceremoniously pointed out how Agatha had abandoned Simon, Penny and himself to die alone at Watford that Simon finally decided to point out his rudeness.

"Basilton." Simon said, wide eyed. Though, he was grinning. Agatha hadn't bothered counting his drinks but she imagined he was tipsy.

"Did you just call me fucking Basilton." Baz said, nearly spitting out his drink.

"Yeah I did, your being an arse." Simon giggled, elbowing him.

"No I'm not!" Baz said, incredulously.

"Darling..." Simon sighed, clearly amused. Baz gave him a murderous look.

Penny rolled her eyes at them both, " Will you two shut up." She shook her head, "Honestly with you two, right in front of my fucking macaroni."

Agatha gave Penny a look like Please explain, but Penny just gave her a semi awkward smile before turning back to Simon and Baz.

"Go fuck yourself, Bunce." Baz said taking another swing of alcohol.

"Somebodies cranky!" Niall said, a bit too enthusiastically. He was very clearly drunk at this point. Simons grin widened.

Agatha couldn't manage much else but to stare at them all. A year ago none of them could stand being in the same room together, much less a birthday party and... wait, had Simon called Baz darling? She must've had a drink too many, she decided. Even if Simon liked boys, he would NEVER be with Baz. They hadn't been sworn enemies six months ago. In the sober world none of this would be happening. Niall would certainly never talk to Baz like that and Simon... Simon would be acting like this. She couldn't bring herself to imagine if Baz was on Simon's hit-list. Crowley, has she just called Simons potential girlfriends (boyfriends?) hits?

"Wellbelove?" She looked up, suddenly snapped out of her train of thought. For some ungodly reason her and Baz were alone in the booth. She looked over to the bar and saw Simon, Pen and Niall all getting drinks and then looked back at Baz, sitting directly across from her. He had been on his phone and was just glancing up at her, barely. For once he actually looked vaguely concerned, though perhaps that was just curiosity.

"Yeah?" She answered finally, "Where'd everyone go?" She asked, stupidly.

Baz cocker a smirk, "You that drunk already, Wellbelove? We've not even eaten." Agatha glared at him, annoyed. Baz dropped his smirk and looked back at his phone, "You used to like my teasing, Wellbelove." He sighed, sounding disappointed.

"No, i really didn't ." She huffed , shifting in her seat. Last year or six months ago she would've loved to have been left alone with Baz Pitch, but now she just felt awkward and slightly uncomfortable. Ever since she'd found Simon st Baz's, Christmas Eve...

"Blimey Wellbelove, you are space today, aren't you?" Agatha looked up, she'd almost forgotten about Baz being there.

"Tired," she lied, "Jetlag." Even though it didn't make any sense, California was behind London, not ahead.

Baz seemed to know this because he raised an eyebrow at her, "Right." He said, clearly not believe her at all. After a moment he put down his phone and straightened up, "Look, Agatha," he said, and she knew whatever it was was going to be bad because he never called her Agatha, "I just wanted to tell you, I never actually liked you." Agatha felt like Baz had dropped a bucket of ice down her shirt. "I mean you are attractive and all but mostly I just flirted with you to piss off Simon, honestly."

She crinkled her nose, "Simon?"

"Yes, Simon." Baz condescended, "The former love of your life?"

"You never call him that."

"Hm?"

"You always called him Snow."

Baz blushed. Baz, the fucking vampire, blushed. Agatha could hardly believe it.

"I used to call Snow a lot of things, Wellbelove," he said, sounding dangerous, "and I still do."

Right then, Simon, Penny and Niall all reappeared, each holding at least two or three drinks each. Penny was bright shade of pink, something Agatha wouldn't have thought possible with her complexion, and she reeked of whiskey. Agatha glanced back at Baz, he was smiling up at Simon. Half smirking but beaming.

"Bloody hell, Snow," Baz chuckled, "What've you done to Bunce?"

"Me?!" Simon exclaimed, plopping next to him, "I've done nothing!" He was grinning again. No, she thought, he was flirting.

Agatha gulped, slightly embarrassed. Less by the fact that Simon was flirting with his former arch nemesis but more because no one had bothered to tell her her ex-boyfriend was dating a bloke.
