Rekindled Love

At the Malhotra Mansion

Pushkar was walking down the hall looking for his sister in law Suman Tiwari ,when he approached the kitchen he saw her cooking away with Nirmala .She always had a smile on her face while cooking ,she enjoyed experimenting and feeding her in laws. She was the best thing that ever happened to the family . She was responsible, sweet caring and an amazing cook. Her grandfather was Ramnath's law professor and he respected him a lot .

Raghuvar Tiwari knew his time to leave the world was approaching , he's been in and out the hospital after his cardiac surgery .This worried him and shared his concerns with Ramnath , wishing that Suman would be settled with a good family .Ramnath promised her grandfather  that she will become the daughter in law of his family .

Raghuvar Tiwari was satisfied and had full trust and confidence in Ramnath that his granddaughter will be well taken care of . She didn't have anyone else, after her parents died when she was six years old. Raghuvar Tiwari was the only family she ever knew. Soon after he passed away Ramnath made sure she became his daughter in law.The whole family welcomed her with open arms except one....Shravan .

He was not pleased with this decision, after coming back from London , he finished his studies in Law from Oxford University but little did he know when he would arrive home he was going to get  married!

He had other plans , she was not the one he wanted to marry but because of family pressure he agreed . Shravan was aware of Suman due to Raghuvar Tiwari but never really conversed with her very much, he knew nothing about her ! Same for Suman , she knew that her grandfather's last wish was for her to be settled and married , so she agreed . It was a small ceremony, they both signed the marriage papers and the next thing you know they were legally married . She was dressed as a simple bride wearing a long red fitted anarkali with her wrist adorned with red bangles .She  felt it was so rushed but it was her nanu's last wish and had this hope that Shravan might be the one for her .

The night of their marriage Shravan had a huge argument with Ramnath. He told his father that he wanted to marry Urvashi , she was his girlfriend in London but because of his father literally blackmailing him of disowning him as a son if he doesn't marry Suman, he agreed. But he was not happy with the deduction he took hastily .No one forgot that night, when Shravan walked out on his family and his wife and never looked back .

Pushkar came back to reality; he was the only one in the family that had contact with Shravan. He would call once in a while but here relationship was by not the same as it used to be. His cousin hurt a lot of people including Suman, so he made sure taking the role of a brother in law and keeping her happy .They gave her so much love when she had no one. The Malhotra became her family and helped her emotionally and career wise. When she got married she was still in the middle of her grieving from her grandfather's passing and when Shravan walked out it felt as if she had no support anymore. She thought her husband will be there for her, but he wasn't and that was even more painful for her .But the Malhotra family made sure to she was cared for and protected. They helped her though her grieving and gave her the needed support, especially Nirmala and Ramnath treating her like their own daughter.

Ramnath disowned Shravan completely, he didn't want to talk to him or mention him anymore after he walked out .The family was very aware of that , whenever he would come up in  a topic Ramnath would rage up ,but he was just very hurt from his son .

Ramnath always told Suman , that he lost one son but gained a daughter and she was the most beautiful gift for his family . This would bring a smile on her face as he would hug her fatherly patting her head blessing her .
