Chapter 4

Two weeks later

Shravan walked in the Malhotra house, as childhood, teenage memories flashed across his eyes bringing a smile on his ace . He felt so much at peace being back home, he saw his mother and father sitting in the living room having tea with others laughing playing cards together .

As he walked through the door his heart was pounding anxiously and nervously but at the same time longing to be with his family again . Everyone were shocked seeing him ,Nirmala ran to him unbelievably ,she touched his face may times assuring he was really there .They both cried emotionally as others had tears of joy. Ramnath stared at his son with much anger but it melted away as soon as Shravan approached his dad and went on his knees apologizing ..

Ramnath sat on the sofa with tears in his eyes seeing his son folding his hand in front of him .Shravan cried silently lowering his head with his tearful voice mixed with regret .

"I'm sorry papa ,I know I upset you ,disrespected you but I missed my family so much ..Please give me one more chance . I promise I will never upset you again ."

Nirmala cried holding her husband shoulder signalling him to let go of the anger .. Ramnath gazed on pensively

"You left your family for that girl ? Where is she now?"

Shravan looked at his father ashamed "were not together anymore. When she found out I got married she left to pursue her career. I haven't seen her since "

" Why didn't you come back earlier ?" Ramnath asked grimly yet it was only the yearning to see his son that spoke

Shravan pursed his lips "I didn't know how to face everyone after what I did . I thought you will not forgive me so why should I try .." he explained in his dull voice

"What made you come back so suddenly?"Ramnath asked as everyone listened on

Shravan was still on his knees " When I met Suman and Pushkar in London I realized it was time to come back "he stated looking at his father through his glistening eyes

"I'm really sorry papa ,for everything , I was young, ignorant and conflicted  but now I want to be back with my family.I left my practice in London , my high end clients everything , to come back to my family ..."

There was a moment of silence before Ramnath put his hand on Shravan a head ..." You accepted your mistake and you came back ... that's what matters .And Im sorry too , I failed to understand you "

Shravan looked in his father's eyes filled with love holding in hand firmly "no Papa, you were just trying to fulfill your promise towards Tiwariji"

Ramnath patted his head warmly . "You will always be part of our family but the permission to let you stay is in Suman's hand" he announced "She is still your wife Shravan, if you stay then you will have to mend your relationship with her"

Shravan nodded understanding and was willing to give his marriage a chance .

Moments later Suman came back with Vandy from their zoomba class . She walked in wearing her casual working out clothing with her hair left open. She was laughing with Vandy as their conversation went on about there zoomba teacher.

Her feet halted seeing Shravan standing with Nirmala in the living area with the rest of the family sitting down . She felt her heart pacing as his eyes stayed clued on her .She didn't expect him to actually show up! But he did!

"No way! Shravan?" Vandy exclaimed with her eyes widened Varun shook his head seeing his wife's typical reaction "Sumo ,you never told me he was coming?" she whispered in her ears
