Chapter 13

Two days passed ,Shravan got busy with Mr Agnihotri's fraud case it took a lot of his time discussing with the team and the important steps to be taken . Everyone were aware of Satyagi leaving and were glad he was reported and put out from the team .They were all glad that Shravan took over ,he had a much better communications with the team and his plan was more organized and detailed .

Shravan got very busy with work and would come back home late from the office . Suman would wait for him but would eventually fall asleep . She was aware that he had a lot of responsibilities and was very understanding. Ramnath had a lot of expectations from his son and she knew Shravan was a hard worker and would make sure his father's Law firm is on the right track.

At night when he would come back there was a plate of food prepared for him in the fridge .He knew she had left it for him . When he would go upstairs in the bedroom he lay next to her and cuddle her falling asleep peacefully .She became his sanctuary and whenever he needed comfort hugging her made him take a sigh of relief . He felt as if he wasn't seeing her as often, even though they would eat together for breakfast and lunch he felt that it just wasn't enough time with her !

With so much happening at Malhotra Associates , they decided to take the afternoon off and have a basketball match to relieve from all the work pressure !! Half of the day they worked and finished early meeting at the field .

Suman was wearing her sporty clothes with a Nike hat . Shravan wore his basketball jersey and shorts as they both were looking quite athletic ..

"I'll do the points .." Rakesh said sitting on the bench

"Come on Rakeshji play with us your always doing the points come .." Suman pestered sweetly

"Not today Suman ji I have a knee cramp" he explained

"We're going to lose for sure ." Preeti exasperated interrupting

"Why do you say that ?" Suman asked making a pony tail and looked on the basketball court watching the boys practicing and saw Shravan literally shooting the ball in the hoop like it was nothing !

"Your husband is a tall guy and look how he's scoring, he just needs a little jump and he's able to reach the goal net" Preeti explained impressed and glanced at Suman who watched her husband give her a cheeky smile .

"Don't worry, I also played basketball in senior school and little in college" she said giving preeti a confident smile running to the basketball field

"Oki so since the boys team is stronger I'll join the girls team .." Pushkar announced as preeti smiled

"Awn that's so sweet of you Pushkar" Suman pinched his cheek "but I know you changed team because you know our team is stronger" she announced as the Guys started smiling mockingly and Shravan chuckled

"Yes that's exactly why Pushkar changed teams" he said shaking his brothers shoulder "right Pushkar?"

He nodded sheepishly but his cousin knew exactly why he changed teams it was for Preeti.

"It's okay we'll keep you in our team "Suman said yet glad that he joined

"Okie guys let's start !" Shravan announced

"Okay tallest from the group in the middle" Rakesh announced as Suman walk and Shravan coming closer

"Ok rules when I shoot the ball up you both need to whack it towards your team members" Rakesh instructed

They both nodded ,Suman knew Shravan will get the ball first because of his height but she didn't complain it wasn't his fault .They gave each other a challenging look before jumping for the ball . The match started as Pushkar had the ball bouncing it and passing it to sumo ...She reached the basket ball net and jumped scoring! Shravan had to admit she looked really attractive playing basketball, he felt a sense of pride that she was his wife!
