Rekindled Love

Chapter 11

The next day Shravan and Suman came back from work , she was so excited the whole day! They were going to the premiere the Avengers! She was looking forward to it all week with Shravan as they were both big fans of the Marvel series  !Shravan wasn't feeling well the whole day but didn't want to ruin it for her . He took two Tylenols for his headache hoping he will feel better .

Suman quickly put on her cardigan and fixed her hair ,she then saw Shravan taking some medications.

"Shravan are you ok?"

"Ya just a little headache it will go away don't worry .. let's go ?"He could feel his throat getting sore .

Suman wasn't convinced and suggested to stay back but Shravan was adamant to take her ..

They were in the car driving to the cinema , but Suman kept glancing at him concerned . She then noticed Shravan car moving sideways
and quickly took over the steering wheel moving to the side of the road "Shravan !!"

He became aware of what he was doing and took a sigh of relief putting the brakes . She noticed his hands were really warm and he seemed distracted.

"Shravan ...You're so warm!" She said putting her hand on his forehead

" It's nothing Sumo "

She started getting angry and got out the car going to the driving seat and he went to the passenger seat."What is this Shravan ! Why didn't you tell me your not feeling well!" She scold yet filled with worry

She made a U turn going back home "Sumo your over reacting."

"I'm not overreacting! You should have just told me truth "

"But you were waiting all week for this movie and I didn't want to ..."

"Shut up just shut up! You think this movie is more important for me then You!" she was so upset that he wanted to take her despite him feeling sick.

He knew her scolding was out of care and didn't take offence instead smiled making her more irked " Why are you smiling like that ! It's not funny "

He  found her reaction quite endearing because she cared for him deeply and he knew that! For the pass two months she's been there for him and her love and care was evident !

When they reached home he changed into his black hoody with track pants . Suman tucked him in bed causing his heart to warm up seeing the care from her .He closed his eyes  as she sat on the other side again the bed rest . She put her hand on pressing his forehead in a massaging motion, knowing he was having a head ache . Her hand slowly moved to his hair, racking it backwards comforting him ,he was loving her caress over his head . He fell asleep as she continued her gentle strokes on his head

She noticed his body temperature warming up , he started removing the blankets away .She rushed to get cold cloths applying it to his forehead and wiping it around his neck and on his upper chest . 

Shravan was still asleep but could feel her presence as she tried controlling his symptoms. After seeing him in a more comfortable state , she went down to get him something to eat ..

She was in the kitchen preparing her chicken noodle soup , she would make it whenever someone in the family was sick. Kamini was in the kitchen seeing this "Don't worry I'm sure it's just a cold, here apply this Vick balm on him"

Suman nodded she was going to try everything! She climbed the stairs hearing him starting to cough coarsely.

Vandy and Kamini shared a smile "Vick balm good ideas mummiji" Vandy said raising her brows teasingly...
