Flashback Time.

That night after getting home from my lunch date!

When I got home, I went straight to Sung Deuk's room hoping he was home. I needed my friend & a drink. Knocking, I heard nothing coming from his room. I'll just get the drinks & wait outside for him to get back, I thought.

While walking back from the store I sent him a message.

[Yah, your friend needs a drink & advise, come home, I'm waiting out front!🍶😦]

[Be there in five minutes, your shinning SON is on his way!💪🌞]

I smile to myself, I can always count on him, I chuckle to myself, Oh that stupid pun he makes with his surname, when he replaces Sun with Son.

Flashback to 8 years ago.

Hearing music from different language coming from the community hall, I sneak in to see what it was. I'm suppose to go straight home, but Nicky ditched me to hang out with her friends. Some sister she is.

Peaking around the corner I see 5 dancer practicing. I'm immediately fascinated by the way they move.

They suddenly stop seeing me eyeing them. Are you lost? Why are you alone? They ask me, I turn & run scared shitless as to why they wanted to know if I was alone. I hear them calling after me, but I don't even look back too scared they might be following me.

After that I go back everyday & hide myself properly just to make sure they don't spot me. Every night at home in my room I practice the moves I see them do. I want to do this, they look so free I think to myself.

After about 3 weeks of sneaking around, I one day find the practice room empty. Not wondering to much as to why, I put on some hip hop & mimic the moves I saw them do. When the song ends & I turn around & find three guys staring at me with mouths open.

Suddenly scared I grab my stuff & try to sprint out of the other door, just to be blocked by the two guys I did notice that were missing from the rest.

Whoa, not so fast girly they say.
You thought we didn't know you were watching us, but we did, so we set a little trap for you. Now I'm really scared, stupid, stupid Rose, no one knows you are here I thought to myself.

Just then the door opened & two girls came in, they looked at me & then at the guys. Just when I was about to scream for them to help me one girl said, this the kid you told us about Sung Deuk. Seeing one guy nod yes, the other girl replied, how about you let go of her arm & she might not look so freaked out huh.

Blushing the guy let go & said sorry. Looking totally lost as to what was going on. The first girl said hey kid relax ok, they mean no harm. I'm Lissa that's Jee, they only want to talk to you. But seeing as you made a run for it the last time, Sung Deuk thought it would be a good idea if there were some girls present, so you wont freak out like last time.

~So you got a name kid?~ Lissa asked.
~Uh, yeah it's Rose~ I said.
~Well Rose, that's Matthew, Lee, Kris with a K, John & this guy here is Son Sung Deuk, dance teacher to be & "world famous choreographer " in his dreams~ Lissa chuckled.

~Hello~ I said.
~Hello, hey, what's up, annyeong~ they said together.
~Annyeong?~ I asked confused.
~Oh, Son's korean~ Lissa said.
~So that's the language~ I thought out loud.

They all chuckled when I realised I said it out loud. I told them I was curious as to what language it was, cause it sounded oddly familiar. That's what drew me in a few weeks ago, I told them. Son asked if I maybe was korean, because I kind of look like I could be. No idea, I'm adopted, so maybe I said.

We chatted for a while before I told them that I needed to head home before my mom gets home. Son gave me a flyer, told me to give it to my mom & let her phone him, I was a natural he said.

I nodded & asked with the dance lesson, would he maybe be up to give me some korean lessons as well. He nodded in agreement & I waved goodbye to them, almost skipping home.

End of flashback

When I finally snapped back to reality, Son was standing in front of me watching me. Smiling he said let's walk & talk, it looks like you need to clear your head he said. How right he was!
