Triple Trouble (On hold)

Chapter 1

Rachel's POV

I was lying on my bed, scrolling through twitter, when I saw a tweet that caught my eye.

"ZAZZ!" I yelled to my best friend. Her name isn't actually Zazz, it's Zara, but I call her that anyway.

"What?" She yelled back.

"Go on twitter and look at Ashton's profile!"

"Why?"

"Just do it!"

"Fine!" I started counting down from 10 in my head.

10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 and...

"OH MY GOD RARA! HE'S COMING BACK!!!" She screamed.

I laughed. "I know! Check the date of when he's coming back!"

There was a pause, and then she screamed again.

"HE'S COMING BACK TOMORROW!" She started screaming again.

"Yes, he is! Now stop with the screaming! My ear drums are dying!" I moaned, putting my head under my pillow.

Zazz ran into my room and jumped onto my bed.

"Do you think he remembers us?" She asked.

I shrugged. "I dunno. Maybe."

Zazz squealed. "Triple Trouble will be reunited!"

Maybe I should explain. I'm Rachel, but Zazz calls me Rara. I don't know why, she just does. Anyway, there used to be three of us, which is why everyone at high school called us 'Triple Trouble'. Even the teachers did!

The third member of Triple Trouble is Ashton Irwin. Zazz and I met him in 3rd grade and we became best friends instantly. We were inseparable, until 2 years ago when Ash joined a band. He left to go on tour a few months ago and we lost contact. He had to change his phone number, I don't know why, and it's hard to get noticed amongst all the fans.

Tomorrow, his band would be coming back to Australia and they are doing a meet and greet in the park by my house.

"We are going, right?" Zazz asked.

I took the pillow off my head. "Are you crazy? Of course we are! We need to see little Ashley again!" I grinned.

Another thing, I'm the oldest, Ash is the middle and Zazz is the youngest. My birthday is on 28th May and Zazz's is on 11th August. Also, don't ask why we call Ash by a girl's name. It's a thing, okay?

Just then, Zazz's phone buzzed. She looked at it for a few seconds and then stood up.

"That's my mum. I've got to go now. She's going to a birthday dinner for a friend and I have to babysit Jess." She walked to the front door. Jess is Zazz's 4 year old sister and she's adorable!

"Bye!" I yelled, "See you tomorrow!"

"Bye!" She walked out the door and shut it.

I rolled over and looked at my calendar. 25th May, 2014. Yeah, it's my birthday in 3 days, but I'm probably not going to do a big thing. Just the usual, sleepover with Zazz, watching movies and eating a ton of unhealthy stuff.

You might be wondering where my family are. Well, my parents are out of the country on a business trip (they work together, its how they met) and I'm an only child. I'm used to being by myself, plus I'm old enough to look after myself.

I grabbed my laptop off my floor where it was charging and opened Tumblr. If you've never been on Tumblr before, whatever you do, don't create an account! Once, you've started, there's no going back. I reblogged a few pictures and looked at the time.

6:37 pm. I put my laptop down and went into the living room. I put on my favourite movie of all time. I've watched it so many times I can practically recite the whole film. I also saw the sequel once; it's nowhere near as good as the original. I'll leave you to guess which film it is. (A/N: whoever guesses correctly first gets a dedication!)

I went into the kitchen and made myself some popcorn. Once it was ready, I went back into the living room and lay down on the couch and clicked play. 10 minutes through, I went back on twitter and saw a new tweet from Ash.

@Ashton5SOS: Can't wait to get back to good old Australia!

I smiled and went back to watching the movie. I started thinking about what Zazz asked. Will he remember us or will Triple Trouble just be history?
