Percy was pacing around the white hallway, waiting for some news. He wished his parents were there, but both, the mortals and immortal, were busy and weren't able to come. However...

"Percy!!" He heard his cousin Thalia sprinting down the hallway. Behind her, Jason, Piper, Leo, Nico and Calypso were rushing to meet him.

"Hey, guys..." he greeted them, his voice shaky.

"Gods, Percy! How long have you been up?!" Piper questioned him, worry. He gave her a lopsided smile and chuckled.

"I haven't slept in 6 hours" he admitted.

She aims a smile with the safety off

And she's not afraid to use it

"Everything is gonna be fine, man" Leo assured him, patting his shoulder.

"Leo is right, Perce... Calm down, you know Annabeth would make it..." Jason tried to calm his older cousin. It wasn't his wife charmspeaking, but he had to try.

"You have no idea how many times I wanted to break in and take her away" Percy admitted.

"May we know what is keeping you here?" Calypso asked, curious. Percy chuckled.

"Annabeth" Everyone but Thalia gave him a puzzled look "Look, I was panicking more than her and she glared at me until I had to look away!!" he protested.

"Percy, you know that if she needs you, she'll call you, right?" Nico asked, worry.

"Yeah, like this morning" Percy recognized, chuckling.

"What happened this morning?" Thalia asked.

"We were getting ready to leave for work and I heard her scream my name" Percy started to tell "Being the oblivious 'Seaweed Brain' I am, I thought it was time" he confessed "So, I ran through the hallway, all ready when I reached the kitchen... and saw her on top of the table because a spider was on the floor" he finished. His friends chuckled softly along.

"Perce, when Piper asked you if hadn't been sleeping, I think you forgot to add a few hours" Nico pointed out an hour later, while they were getting coffee.

"Wanna know the truth?" Percy whispered at him. Nico nodded "I haven't been sleeping for the past 2 weeks" Nico's eyes widen at the comment.

"Percy, you should be ready to collapse!! How you keep going?!" Nico was really impress by his cousin's energy.

"Cause I wanna be ready if she needs me" Percy admitted, sipping his coffee "The last few weeks had been intense... I don't know if she needs something or if it's time or what..."
