was i never good enough?

taehyung and yoongi had been dating for one to two years. they loved eachother dearly. so much it would break the both of them if they ever break up.

now, the only question is.. is it true?

taehyung walked into his shared bedroom with yoongi in the house they shared with all his friends. he decided to go on a date with the older since yoongi had been busy with his music career and taehyung stayed at home cooking, hanging out with friends, and occasionally singing as well. he saw yoongi got a message and decided to look at it for the older since he's his boyfriend anyways.

who knew, that one message would change everything?

that one message that read,

"Hey, Yoongs. I really didn't think that that you would cheat on Taehyung. I really thought you were better for him. I guess I was right from the start, you bastard. Just wait until Tae finds out what happened that night.

He mentally thanked his bestfriend but also cursed at everyone, even if no one was there, as he cried his eyes out. He dropped the phones and to the floor. His back leaned against the wall as he sobbed.

was he not good enough?

why did the older cheat?

taehyung heard the door click open and looked up to see his 'lover' standing in front of him with concern in his eyes.

"tae, baby why are you crying?" he asked caressing the younger's cheek. tae slapped his hand away surprising the older and muttered, "don't fucking touch me."

"what did i did, baby?" yoongi asked concerned. "you cheated on me. i saw the fucking text, hyung." tae blurted out with tears evident on his eyes.

"tae, that was a mistake. i swear, please.." yoongi begged as he lifted hid hand to touch the younger. he simply had his hand slapped away again as the younger stood up and he did too.

"yoongi, if i was never good enough you could've just told me. you didn't need me to find our over text for god's sake!" taehyung yelled tears streaming down his face.

"Please, tae. I really love you. Please forgive me. I'm sorry." yoongi had tears falling from his eyes.

"y-yoongi, let's just stop everything. let's stop this lying because you broke my heart." taehyung said and grabbed the knob of the door when someone grabbed his wrists.

"tae, i know you still love you so much. please, don't do this." yoongi said his eyes sparkling from the tears in his eyes.

"i know i love you. and the problem is, I don't regret it and i don't think i ever will." taehyung said leaving the room.

a loud slap was heard from the kitchen alerting the members to see where jin, taehyung, and yoongi were standing. jin had asked how the two were doing and taehyung really didn't know what to say as he felt tears run down his face. yoongi, however, felt like all his emotions was ripped away from him and he said they broke up.

jin immediately slapped him alerting the other members to get out of their seats and see why and what just happened.

"jin hyung, please don't yell at him." taehyung spoke out. jin looked at the younger with a concerned look on his face, "taehyungie, who said you two should break up?"

this was heard from the other members and their jaws dropped, "I did, hyung." Taehyung said sighing sadly and the older looked at him wanted to hug and kiss him but he couldn't.

And that was his fault.

"why, taehyungie? i thought you guys loved eachother?" jin hyung calmed down a bit. "he cheated on me." taehyung muttered but jin still heard it.

"what. the. actual. fuck. MIN YOONGI!" Jin yelled and slapped the younger again making him flinch and the other's got up to hold jin back.

taehyung fell to the floor and cried and jimin went over to him to hug him. "I-I saw your text, j-jiminie.. on his p-phone.." taehyung spoke through sobs and jimin understood.

"HOW COULD YOU FUCKING DO THIS TO HIM?! HOW COULD YOU SAY YOU LOVE HIM AND RISK EVERYTHING FOR HIM WHEN YOU FUCKING TREAT HIM LIKE SHIT?! WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU GUYS EVEN HAD A DATE?!" Jin yelled and yoongi stood through silent tears going down his cheeks, "we were gonna go out today." jin got even angrier at that response.

this time jungkook was infuriated, "what the fuck, hyung?! why did you cheat on him?"

"I JUST KISSED SOMEONE ALRIGHT! JIMIN THOUGHT WE WERE DOING SOMETHING BUT IT WAS AN ACCIDENT! THIS IS ALL A MISUNDERSTANDING!!" Yoongi finally bursted out and everyone stayed quiet. Taehyung wiped his years away and stoo up with Jimin's help.

"H-hyung, who did you kiss?" taehyung asked and yoongi looked at him.

"He kissed me." Hoseok stated in shame and everyone looked at him. "It was an accident." He explained and Taehyung looked back at Yoongi.

"Did.. did it mean anything?" Taehyung asked anticipating what the older was gonna say.

"It didn't, Tae." Yoongi spoke facing the younger.

"We'll leave the two of you alone then." Jim hyung said a bit calmer and the rest of them left following.

"I love you, Tae. So, don't think you were never good enough. I love you and that's why I want you and only you."

"I-I love you too, hyung." Taehyung replied and kissed the older passinately and he returned it.

THAT WAS SO LONG!

i was literally reading so much angst with a happy ending taegi books and it was great. It helped me come up with this idea.
