we aren't meant to be together

polar opposites, they both live in the same world. Fire and water, people who have these powers aren't supposed to be together. Or even talk, for that matter.

But, what happens if they fall in love with eachother?

taehyung mastered his powers very well and always was a good student. when all the students went to the same school, he was bullied a lot. that's when someone saved him.

they hung out more than they should. they both knew it was bad because fire and water don't mix. but, they felt safe around eachother and that's what scared the both of them.

they learned more about eachother and slowly gained feelings. but, they would never admit that to eachother.

"taehyung-ah, who are you texting?" jin asked tae who was smiling down at his phone while eating lunch with his hyungs.

"no one, hyung. it isn't important. also, i have to cancel on the cafe meet up today." tae stated and that made everyone widen their eyes,"tae! you never miss a meet up! come on, what are you doing then?"

taehyung played with his fingers and sighed, "i'm meeting with a friend.." jimin smirked at his bestfriend, "do you have a crush on this certain friend?"

"no, i don't!" tae yelled as he playfully hit his bestfriend. his friends just laughed at his cuteness.

that's when the min yoongi, bad boy of the school, came towards them. everyone tensed up except for taehyung.

he was holding taehyung's jacket. since they hung out yesterday at his house to catch up on homework.

"tae, you left this at my house." he spoke and gave the jacket back to the younger who gladly put it on. yoongi waved goodbye and taehyung was blushing a bit and his hyungs stared at him.

"you were with the bad boy of the school last night?" jimin asked slowly to confirm. "what if i was?" taehyung asked playing with the jacket's sleeves.

jin immediately took the jacket off of him and told jungkook to throw it away with his wind powers. "what the hell?! that was my jacket!" taehyung screamed. "it was contaminated by a fire kid. and you know min yoongi, he's bad news and you can't be with him. it's impossible." namjoon stated pushing his glasses up.

"ugh, stupid rules." taehyung groaned and headed out of the cafeteria. "you better not meet up with him, tae!" jin yelled. "too late, hyungs!" taehyung laughed and left the cafeteria.

the more he hanged out with yoongi the more he yearned to be with him. he felt safe with him. he wanted to be with him.

when he walked out of the school he saw yoongi got beaten up pretty badly by a water kid. so, he used his own powers to defend him.

"you fucking traitor! he's a fire kid." the guy yelled back who hit tae with a water spell causing him to stumble into yoongi's arms. who looked at him from the side their faces close to eachother.

"you're insane if you love someone like him!" the guy spat and this angered taehyung. his eyes turned blue alerting yoongi and the other guy and he shot the kid with all the water spells he had. taehyung took yoongi out of their and ran towards his favorite spot near the river.

there they sat down. taehyung started to clean up yoongi's injuries even if he could heal but not that bad of a wound. he saw that there was an open cut under his shirt and sighed.

"yoongi, take off your shirt." he spoke and the older's eyes widened, "what?!" yoongi jumped, "relax, i need to clean up your wounds. okay?" taehyung asked and yoongi trusted him. so, he took off his jacket and shirt and stared at tae who was blushing a bit but went right to work.

it was just silence for a while when tae cleaned the wounds. when he bandaged them he still didn't move from his position of looking down at yoongi's bare stomach. yoongi looked at the younger intimately, that's when he grabbed his cheek to make him look up. now, their faces were inches close to eachother.. and so were their lips.

they both were caught in the moment and their lips touched. the feeling in both their stomachs was indescribable. both fell in love with eachother and felt explosions everywhere. they kissed slowly for a few minutes until they needed to catch their breaths.

"tae, i love you." yoongi spoke still caressing the younger's cheek. "i love you too, but.. we can't be together." taehyung sighed taking the older's hand in his and sitting into yoongi's touch.

"who cares about them? i love you and that's all that matters." yoongi spoke and softly pecked tae's neck.

"i love you too.. and no one will stop that." tae said smiling happily.

tae opened the door but heard his hyung yell at him, "KIM TAEHYUNG, YOU BETTER NOT MEET WITH THAT MIN YOONGI!!"

"Why can't I?! Because he is fire and I'm water?! Becuase we aren't meant to be together?!!" taehyung started getting frustrated at jimin. "tae, you are polar opposites! It's won't work out, i'm trying to protect you!!" jimin begged. "if you're trying to protect me, let me be with the one i love!" taehyung cried out.

"tae, you can't love him and you know that." jimin said with endearment. "I can't choose who I love, jiminie! I love him so much that it physically hurts since everyone thinks we are insane to be together! I thought out of anyone, you would be the one to help me!!" taehyung spoke with tears in his eyes.

"tae, please ju-"I CAN'T JIMIN! I LOVE HIM SO MUCH THAT I WILL LEAVE EVERYTHING BEHIND!!" taehyung yelled out and opened the door. but, before he walked out he could hear his hyung whisper,

"you better hope he will do the same."

taehyung kissed the older slowly catching him off guard. he pressed his lips against his and the older pulled away before going to far. but, his heart broke once he saw the tears on the younger's face.

he quickly kissed them away and looked at his baby with love in his eyes.

"everyone is saying we can't be together, hyung. they say that they don't trust you.." taehyung spoke with sadness in his voice. "tae, do you trust me?" yoongi asked and the younger looked up at him, "I trust you more than anything and anyone, min yoongi."

"i love you, kim taehyung."

"i love you more, min yoongi."

it had been a few weeks since yoongi and tae got together. the younger hung out only with him during the day at school since no one trusted nor liked their relationship. not even tae's friends. but, as the days went by and they saw how in love the two were and how yoongi cared for tae. they wanted so badly to go and apologize for it.

so, that's exactly what they did.

"tae, can we talk?" jimim asked tapping softly on tae's shoulder as he was holding hands and talking to yoongi.

"what is it, jiminie? I swear if it is about yoongi and i's rela-"it's not, tae. we came to say sorry." jimin said and the rest of the hyungs nodded.

yoongi smiled at tae's friends. tae hesitantly accepted but let them sit in front of them. they properly introduced themselves to eachother. after this, they went to the cafe to get to know eachother better and it seemed to work.

I was watching a taegi fmv au, and this happened because of that. also, i have school at 8:00 and it's currently, 3 am.. only about to get four hours of sleep.
