It's Not A Bad Thing: Miefer's Tale of Love

Tale # 9

1 week rest kami from training. Kakauwi lang namin from Bulacan yesterday and I’m still so tired. Feeling ko ang dami ko nanamang nakain. Jessey came over and nag jogging kami kaninang umaga to burn all the fats I gained. Lol.

We were currently inside my room resting. Nakahiga lang ako while she used her laptop. We were both drained out because of the jogging we did kanina and sobrang hyper namin kaya nagpahinga kami kasi later kakain kami sa labas. I was just scrolling through my twitter timeline when Kiefer’s name flashed on the screen. He was calling.

I looked at Jessey only to see her busy with the article she was reading. Basically… I haven’t exactly told her about Kiefer so magfe-freak out talaga to once na malaman niya. Team mates ko pa lang naman kasi ang nakakaalam. Kung si Mama nga, nag OA, si Jessey pa kaya.

“Hello?" I answered.

“I was about to drop by sa dorm niyo, but then naalala ko na umuwi ka pala. Sunduin sana kita, but I don’t know where your house is naman.” Sabi niya. As he spoke, I hear his movements. I assumed he was drving.

“Are you driving ba?”

“Yeap, sunduin ko lang si Dani from training. Early dismissal siya today eh. Ano? G ka for lunch? Sabay ka na samin.”

“How? Eh I’m here nga.”

“Meet up na lang tayo. Let’s just meet sa Eastwood.” Sabi niya. “Or you want, I’ll fetch you na lang? Just tell me the address.” Tumawa siya.

“Pasimpleng damoves ka brad ah.” Pangaasar ko.

Tumawa siya. “Ikaw kasi eh. I haven’t seen you in a while…”

“Syempre, family time. Duh.” Tumawa ako.

“How about ‘us’ time?”

“Anong us??? Gusto mo sapak?”

Tumawa siya. “Not yet anyways.”

“Wow sa confidence huh.”

“G ka? We’ll wait for you na lang.”

I looked at Jess who was looking at me kanina pa, with a frown on her face. She mouthed, “Sino yan?” but I just signaled her to wait.

“Can I bring company?” I asked him.

“Sure, meet the family na ba to?” pangaasar niya.

“What is feeler. Best friend ko isasama ko, not my family. Masyado kang advance.”

Tumawa siya. “Ayieeeee. So you’re gonna introduce me to your bestfriend na huh? Points for me!”

I just shook my head and rolled my eyes. “You think too much, bruh. She came over kaya isasama ko din for lunch. And besides, libre mo naman kaya G ako.”

“Huh???”

I laughed. “Oh why? May violent reaction ka? You want bonus points right? Edi make me libre!” pangaasar ko. He was about to say something pero inunahan ko na. “See you at Eastwood, phenom! Bye!” then I hung up.

I sat up when I saw the look on Jessey’s face. She was looking at me like crazy, hindi ko maintindihan but she wore that shock on her face.

“Was that who I think it was?” tanong niya while pointing to my phone.

“Depends on who you think it is. There are two phenoms…” I smiled.

“No way!!! So si Kiefer nga???”

“Sorry, I forgot to make kwento eh.”

“Nanliligaw???” she asked and I nodded. “Omg! Since when?” excited na excited niyang tanong.
