Chapter 8 "Game Night"

Elena POV

It was already 8:30 and I was just putting my little princess to bed when I heard glass breaking. I scooped up Riley and ran downstairs to see what happened. When I got down their I saw a drunk Stefan and a scared Caroline. "What is going on down here? I don't have vamp hearing anymore but I heard that glass break." I stated sternly. "Elena, everything is fine Stefan just had to much burbon." Care said in a angry, annoyed tone. "I'm going to put my daughter back to bed and when I come back Care can you make sure Stefan is sleeping? I don't think he's up for family game night." "Yeah of course Elena". Care told me. Just after I started to head upstairs Damon came down and saw that I was unhappy. He stopped me, "Elena what's wrong?" My caring husband said with concern. "Your brother. He's drunk and when I heard that glass break I was scared Damon. I said bluntly. Stefan scared me. I'm just not use to seeing him like this." I stated and continued going upstairs.

Damon POV

After talking to an angry, upset Elena I continued my way downstairs. And then I smelt cookies. "It's been 20 minutes Care." I whined. "I'm hungry." "Well Damon you need to have patience." Care replied. "Mmm, smells good in here." My wife said with a smile. Then she snatched a cookie off of the plate. She put it half way in her mouth and I went in to take the other half. We sort-of just had a Lady and the Tramp moment."Damon." Elena smiled with a mouthful of chocolate chip cookies in her mouth. "So is Bonnie bringing her boyfriend?" Care asked. "Yeah, I can't wait to meet this mystery man." Elena said in weird but funny tone that made me laugh.

Damon POV

As we were talking the doorbell rang. "I'll get it." And I walked over there to answer the door and it was Bonnie. "Hey Bon Bon." Damon said with a smile. "Hey Damon." She said with a smile. As Bonnie walked in and got talking with her besties, she totally forgot about Mason, her date. "Hi, I'm Elena." My kind wife told Bon Bon's boyfriend Mason. "Hi i'm Mason."

Caroline POV

As we all said hi and caught up I zoomed upstairs to check on stefan, and he was out like a light and so I went back downstairs and I am about to anounce what we are playing "So ready to start game night." I said excitingly. " The game were playing is freeze tag." I know sounds like a little kids game, but come on guys we need this." Care said desperately. "So lets get this game started, oh and we can't use our supernatural abilities, ok." "And I'm looking at you Bonnie." I said sternly, but in a joke-ish tone.
