"Chapter 12" Bason(Bonnie x Mason)

Bonnie's POV

2 weeks later... At Mason's house

"Mason, can I ask you something?" I said with concern in my voice. "Of course babe." Mason said. "What do you think of my family?" I said looking at the floor. "Honestly Bon, I think there really awesome, caring people that love and protect you." Mason said with a huge smile that I loved seeing. "Well that's great because were going over to the boarding house to have dinner." I said as I pecked him on the lips.

Stefan's POV

"So my family, I have gathered you all in our kitchen to decide what we are having for dinner." "I mean we need to show Bonnie that we can be good hosts now that she is dating again." I said with regret, then I saw the look on everyone's faces. "Well we could have spaghetti and meatballs, or steak and potatoes." My brother Damon said imagining food. "Well lets all take a vote." Elena said. "Who wants spaghetti and meatballs?" I asked and to my surprise everyone said yes, so my wife, Elena and myself got to cooking since Bonnie was going to be here in an hour.

Nobody POV

As they finished cooking they all got ready to have Bonnie and Mason over for dinner. All the girls were wearing nice, but casual dresses while Stefan and Damon wore nice dress shirts, jeans and some nice shoes. And of course Damon finishes his look with a hot leather jacket. So the family is all ready and set. They were all helping out setting up the table when the doorbell rang. The new couple was right on time. Josie went to get the door.

Josie POV

I made my way to the door and opened it to see my aunt with her boyfriend, who by the way is actually helping Lizzie and I with our magic. I hugged my aunt and welcomed them inside. My mom made my way up to them and hugged them both and she pulled Mason away to probably warn him about "If you break her heart I will hurt you speech." So yeah, they came back a while later and we all sat down to have a nice family dinner. We all started to eat and I thought to myself, "Man, this is soo good." Lizzie and I were talking as I noticed my baby cousin to the cutest thing, she was trying to feed my aunt and my uncle her baby food. Then, I heard a knock on the door. "I'll get it." And I walked to the door, and to my belief when I opened it I found Sheriff Donovan. "Hi sheriff, to what do we owe this pleasure." As I said to Matt smiling. "Hey Josie, can I come in it's urgent." Matt said with a serious look on his face. "Yeah, of course, come in."

Matt POV

As I walked in I took a moment to recognize the house since I haven't been here in so long. I'm always out on the streets protecting the people of Mystic Falls. "We were just finishing up dinner, would you like some spaghetti and meatballs?" Josie asked. "No thanks, Josie." Then, I saw everyone walk into the living room. As we were all greeting each other I found little Riley. "Hey, Damon can I hold her?" "Sure Donovan." Damon said. I finally got to hold her, she is just so precious and I feel kinda bad for missing my first chances to see her but i'm a working man. I never got to see her when she was at the hospital. But anyway I had some news for my friends and it was not the good kind.
