My Best Friends Brother

Party again

I jumped up from yet another nightmare. Hunter freaked out and shook me a little and I started crying a little. He pulled me into a hug and I felt safe.

"It's ok your ok." Hunter whispered. I pulled apart from the hug and looked around. 

"Umm where are we?" I asked. Hunter chuckled a little.

"We were hiding last night and you fell asleep on my shoulder in the closet then I fell asleep because I didn't want to move and wake you." Hunter said.

"Oh thank you." I said and we climbed out of the closet. We both walked into the kitchen and everybody was already up and eating breakfast. I grab a bowl and fill it with cereal and milk and walk to the couch not saying anything. 

"Rough night?" Daniel asked bumping Hunter's arm but I didn't think to much of it. 

"Um Daniel may I speak to you outside?" Ally asked. They both walked outside.

Ally's POV

"What was that about?" I asked Daniel. 

"Listen I have known your brother for a long time and I could tell when something is up. For the past few years I have been watching how different he acts around certain people. Well he acts completely different around Y/N then anybody else I have seen," Daniel said.

"What are you implying?" I asked.

"I think your brother likes Y/N and I think we should get them together!" Daniel said. It finally all clicked into my head. My brother was always protective around Y/N and always asked me questions about how she was doing if he didn't see her. I 100% agree with Daniel about getting them together I think it would be amazing.

"Soo what do you think?" Daniel asked me. A evil smile spread across my face.

"When do we start?" I asked rubbing my hands together.

"Right now. Boys need  2 things to realize they like someone. First they need to be alone with that person and second they need to get jealous some how." Daniel said.

"How about another party. This time I will invite more guys then girls and we can leave Hunter and Y/N to set up while we buy food." I said. Daniel nodded his head and we high fived each other before walking into the house again. I pulled out my phone and created a massive group chat of all the guys I knew and invited them to the party then I invited a couple of close girl friends. 

"Great news we are having another party tonight and it is going to be amazing." I said. Hunter and Y/N snapped their heads to me in harmony. 

"Me and Daniel are going to go get food and drinks. Y/N and Hunter yall stay here and set up the house." I said. Before anybody had time to protest I grabbed Daniel's hand and booked it out the door. 

Your POV

I was so confused all I knew was there was a party and me and Hunter had to set stuff up. I got up and washed my bowl. I played music and me and Hunter began to prepare stuff. Talking to the moon came on and I loved that song and I knew Hunter liked it too. As I was sweeping I started using the broom as I microphone. 

"In hopes your on the other side talking to me too!" I was singing. I pointed to Hunter signaling for him to continue on he smiled and picked up a hairbrush.

"Or am I a fool who sits alone" He said and grabbed my hand spinning me around.

"TALKING TO THE MOON!" We sing in harmony. The song ends but we don't move. The only thing separating us was the broom. 

Hunter POV

I held Y/N close to me. I wished I could just tell her right there that I loved her. That I was madly in love with her ever since the day she showed up at my house dressed as a princess looking for Ally. But I couldn't. She doesn't like me like that. I am like her older brother. 

Your POV

My stomach began hurting again. Why does Hunter do this to me. Why can't I just find the word that describes what I am feeling. Maybe I have a stomach bug that only comes to life when Hunter is around. I don't know I will ask google tonight, 

"Y/N I umm I think I..." HUnter began to say but the front door opened. 

"Wow we interrupting something?" Daniel asked. We jumped apart and said "no" in unison. We all continued to set up. Around 8pm people started showing up. There was a lot of guys I didn't know so I didn't really socialize a lot. I was standing with Ally by the counters and she out of no where said she was going to get us some sodas. I awkwardly played with my hands and waited for her arrival.

"Well Hello Beautiful." A person said. I turned around and saw a guy older then me but I didn't know him.

"Who are you?" I asked. 

"The name is Jack but you can call me J if you want." He said.

"Would you like to dance?" He asked I shook my head no.

"I am not really big on dancing." I said. 

"Oh well if you want we could just sit and talk." He said. I agreed and we walked over to the small couch and sat down. We talked forever about anything and everything. I couldn't help but feel like I was being watched but I didn't care Jack seemed pretty cool. After a while of talking I felt his arm around my waist and I shifted a little but I really didn't care it was just a friendly gesture. 

Hunter POV

I was standing in the corner of the room watching everybody have a good time.  My eyes fell onto Y/N. She was sitting with A BOY!! ] I continued to watch them making sure nothing happened.

"Yo bro what's up?" Daniel said coming up from behind me. I kept my eyes on Y/N.

"Fine" I said.

"Dude what's wrong?" Daniel asked.

"Do you know that person Y/N is sitting with?" I asked still keeping my eyes fixed on Y/N. 

"DUDE HE JUST PUT HIS HAND ON HER! THAT'S IT IM GOING OVER THER!!" I said. Daniel grabbed my arm. 

"Y/N can fight her own battles you don't need to step in its not like you like her right?" Daniel asked. I jerked my arm away and sat down on a chair watching Y/N very closely. But also thinking about what Daniel said.
