Hey Guys, Another chapter!!! I'm lazy and didn't outline my next few chapters, just my final one, which doesn't help write these now that I realized. Bear with me as I write these when the inspiration strikes, which isn't much. Hope you guys like this chapter.
A day had passed since that meeting with the boy, Borealis, in the tower and more questions were left unanswered about the boy than any of them expected.
A spawn of a mortal and a monster, a happening the demigods had never once heard of before. It had Annabeth hitting the books and Daedalus's laptop. Borealis left the demigods with a task to research, the Greeks/ the remaining 5 and Nico (Percy was no longer considered one of the Seven, and Leo was dead) took to closely examining the Greek and Roman mythologies for even the slightest mention of a child of a Mortal and monster. The Romans in the meantime were looking into the mysterious deaths that SHIELD blamed on the demigods as a whole.
Meanwhile on the other end of the spectrum, the Avengers were puzzling out how Borealis used his powers and how he disappeared and were trying to gauge his threat level and his skills. If the kid could mysteriously and very literally disappear from thin air, what was stopping him from appearing out of thin air? It was already agreed upon Borealis was highly dangerous considering he wasn't dead in the slightest when he should have been.
Percy himself wasn't working with either the Demigods or Avengers. Percy instead moved to track down any person he knew or the myths knew that could burn the world to the ground, who could be called an Inferno in either attitude or power, or both. Percy and Fury focused not on the kid, but by on the person he mentioned, who was either one of the remaining 5, Nico, the Avengers, or Percy.
Percy as such looked into backgrounds, and began to compile information, Fury was keen to find whomever is the Inferno and stop him/her from destroying the world as they knew it. The hard part was even knowing everyone on the Avengers pasts and Percy getting Fury the demigods pasts figured out, no one really stood out to be a destroyer of the world.
As for cooperation between SHIELD and the Demigods, it was practically nonexistent, and instead of the indifference, tensions ran high between the groups. Another SHIELD agent was dead, an Imperial gold sword found in their gut. That one was clearly demigod caused.

"I still don't get it?! how can a kid just disappear from thin air?! it is in every sense of the word, Impossible!" Tony practically yelled as he failed to again come up with a scientific explanation as to why the kid could vanish out of thin air. He had yet to make it to how Borealis hadn't bled to death, or the part about the third eye and the power he used.
Bruce sighed, he accepted his world wasn't purely normal anymore and the presence of gods tended to change what was possible and what wasn't. Though then again, Percy who simply stayed at Avengers tower being exiled from heading where the Demigods disappeared to had no explanation about the kid, and neither did Thor for that matter.
Speaking of the pair, Thor after attacking Percy when they first met got the whole real story from Percy and now the pair were off in the gym, sparring and acting like as Thor put it 'Shield Brothers'. Natasha on the other hand was off on her own assignment in South Africa, thus not able to contribute to the problem of barely any information on their enemy and his objectives other to kill someone he called Inferno.
Clint though was probably the most helpful of the team, he looked around bookstores and antique shops with books for information that might not be found in the demigods books or online. After all, not all information is easily found with an internet search or in books used hundreds of times over. Even then Clint was having very little luck as he went through everything he could find on Greek and Roman lore and even checked books on Greece itself hoping the info they needed might be mentioned there.

Annabeth though in Camp Halfblood could be found in the Big house, practically buried in a mountain of books with Piper and a few other Athena kids. They were having no luck even in finding mentions of a monster with violet eyes past the obvious possibility and not very plausible choice of a cyclops.
Chiron looked on the scene with a sigh, even he had never heard of a child born of mortals and monsters. Chiron wished he could help the kids with knowledge he thought he should know, having lived for the centuries he has, but yet he could provide no guidance and no answer.
Jason, Frank, Hazel, and Nico chose other means of gathering information... They left to go speak to Rachel Dare, their Oracle. At least they might leave with a Prophecy, be it a good or bad prophecy.
There was one problem with that plan in the end...
Rachel hadn't been to school in a week, her father knew nothing of where she was, and no one had seen her for the last week that the demigods knew.
Where was their Oracle??
It's a bit shorter in word count than the other chapters, but, hey a new chapter. Not an overly important chapter, but i had to write something while i had the inspiration and ideas. i will run out of juice soon and leave ya'll hanging a while longer before i get another chapter out... maybe the next one might come out sooner than this one... i don't know, no promises.
