He had been forced to go to the Jacob's with the blondie so that feeling jealous Sonia would give up on him and it seemed like it had worked. He watched painfully as Sonia left through the front door with her tattered sling bag.

She couldn't sleep. He couldn't perform. She had cried her heart out but later asked herself, "why cry for a grown ass man who I barely know" and with that she had taken a novel to read, keep her mind away from his thoughts.

They had gone home together, and the Blondie, Martin's daughter Myra had tried to seduce him. She removed her clothes and sat on his lap, grinding back and forth on his crotch but he never rose to the occasion. This was new to him. They were fuckboys and not once had he been in such a situation. That was when he vowed to fight for her love, even if it meant being disowned by his own father.

The following morning Grace passed by, it was her day off from the bank. She found Sonia still sleeping and let herself in. Taking a cup and spoon she started sing in a high pitched voice, walking towards the bedroom. "Wakey wakey you little lazy bone, how many time shall I tell you..." Sonia covered her ears and groaned. "I'm up! Shut the hell up! You're hurting my ears" she said groggily. That day she called in sick and decided to watch movies, eat takeouts and drink some beers to drain her sorrows. She couldn't take much though, she had work to do in the evening.

Grace offered to drop her off in her old Volkswagen. They bid each other goodbye and went their ways. On entering the bar, there stood Keiran looking all handsome like a magazine model in a royal blue suit trouser and a white shirt. He had rolled up his long sleeves and unbuttoned the first three buttons. Hands i n his pockets he approached her.

"Good evening gorgeous. Can I have a few minutes with you please?" He mouthed in a smooth voice as he leaned forward to peck her cheek.

She felt her stomach do some summer Sault, Her body getting goose bumps, her undies getting wet, something she had never experienced.

"H...hi Kerian" she mouthed as she blushed.

"I am sorry for what you saw the last time I was here. I can explain." he told her as she stroke her cheeks.

"Its okey. Its not like we are an item anyway. That's your life and I'm pretty sure you realized that you can't be with a pauper like me. So, no offence taken. Friends?" She asked stretching her hand for a handshake. He shook her hand and pulled her in for a kiss that she never expected.

Being done with her shift, she hurried out so she can at least get the bus before it left, and there stood Keiran, waiting for her. The drive home was awkwardly humorous as the joked like people who had known each other for a long time. This was a night to remember for her and him. He had never been this happy with any other girl other than her. When they got to Sonia's hood, he couldn't help but wonder how she survived in such kind of a place being such a soft spoken person. He swore in his heart to buy her a house in a safe neighbourhood because she is the woman, he will marry irrespective of what anyone including his dad thinks.

"You can get in. I don't bite. Let me get you some coffee. Its pretty cold don't you think?" She said pulling him inside.

"Its a nice home you've got here Sonia." He complimented looking around. He made himself comfortable and she came back with two cups of coffee. Sitting down across him she asked him about his life. He told her everything she needed to know for the time being leaving out the fact that his dad knew about her and her life may be in danger because of him, and that he had a twin brother who was a completely different person from him.

He shifted to where she was seated and placed his hand on her shoulder, pulling her in for a peck on her cheek. She felt butterflies in her stomach wetness pooling in her pants making her thighs sticky. She clung on him like her life depended on it. Seeing she was comfortable, he made her sit on his lap, and she buried her head on his chest. "You smell so nice. She said silently but it got to his ears. He laughed softly and it was music to her ears.

"Its late. Not that I am throwing you out but I need to work tomorrow." She told him wishing he would stay for the night, which she knew was next to impossible as how can he even spend a night at a place like this? He's rich, she's poor.

"Can I spend the night here? I promise I'll not touch you if don't want to?" She was shocked.

"What will people say when they see you in the morning? She asked crossing her fingers for the unknown.

"They can say or think whatever they want. I don't care. Do you?" He asked grinning.

I can take the couch, and since you are the visitor you will take the bed. I am sorry I dont have much.

Its a cold night Sonia. He groaned, Plus its better if we kept each other warm, dont you think?

Deep blush cropped up her neck to her cheeks then to her ears. She made her bed a little bit cosier to accommodate them both. One look at me and he chuckled walking to the bed and getting inside the sheets like he owned the place.

'He has promised not to touch me, right? So why not?' She asked herself as she had no energy to fight anyway. It was too late.

By the way, why not?
