i woke up on the cold forest floor, hearing the crackle of the fire and the sounds of nocturnal animals. "finally. you're awake" i heard the man say.
"oh! i need to introduce myself" i say. "no no. it's fine i- uhhh already know everything" ty reassures. i begin to move but he gets up and stops me.
"you're getting to close to the fire" he says. "they've disappeared by the way. i may or may not have killed them" he chuckles. "you killed them?" i ask. "yes" he said, as if it was the easiest question on earth.
"a-are you gonna kill me?" i ask. "no. i'm going to protect you. no matter what" ty promises, connecting our pinky fingers.
