after hearing those words, i felt so relaxed and relieved. "do you want something to eat?" i heard them ask. it was a young man.
i nodded and i heard the footsteps walk away from me. i sat for awhile. wondering who that person was or if my mom knew them.
"here, i made japchae" he said, and i could smell the noodles and just by the smell, i can taste it being a wonderful disb. "y-you're a good cook" i compliment.
he says a small thank you and i begin to eat in silence. once i finished, he began to talk to me. "jiu, there are reasons why I have to protect you" he started.
"there a people who want you. people who want your soul for their loved ones" the man said.
"what's wrong with my soul?" i ask. the man shifts uncomfortably before answering. "your soul, is able to.. is able to give unlimited soul to others, like sorta umh yeah" he shrugs.
"you're the only person who can do it" he says. "but what's wrong with that?" i ask again. "people want to send you away. send you to a lab"
