Chapter 2

Chapter 2-A Job...

      Recap: Soon enough I start to fall asleep... I'm determined to give these two a better life. And I did lock my door so that they're safe...

      I wake up to the sun shining into my window. It's 8am and my brother and sister are still in my arms. I shake them both a little and they open they're little eyes. He probably had school but he can't escape much there. "Hey little ones. James your gonna be late for school but I'm not taking you there. We're going around town okay?" They both nod happily.

      "You hurry and get clothes cause they won't wake up till 9 at the earliest." James nods and quietly unlocks the door and goes to get himself clothes. I walk, and take Georgie, and grab her some diapers and clothes putting them in a diaper bag with other baby essentials. I put her in her favorite rainbow dress and black point shoes. She can kinda walk and kinda talk. She's 1 don't judge. *glares at whoever judges through the 4th wall*

      I take her and grab my school bag and put my school stuff -Minus coloring things and empty notebooks- and put it in a box in my closet. They don't check my closet. I put some clothes in my bag and change into a black sweater with black skinny jeans and my signature Black high-tops.

     I put my hair into a bun having two side 'chunk' strands to stay out while I put a black beanie over the rest. James comes back with a bag with some clothes and some coloring things. -Our essentials- He's wearing a dinosaur shirt some black shorts and some normal blue converse. I pick up Georgie and grab James's hands grabbing our things and quietly leaving the house. Having my room locked. I walk around and go inside a Indoor park. ( A/N: It's unrealistic but it could be cool. )

      I take James to the big equipment -Like McDonald play buildings,- and take Georgie to the daycare play area. "Hello miss, Do you happen to have any job openings? I'm 16 and may not have that much experience... But I have a little brother who's 9 and that little freckled ginger over there is my 1 year old sister. My parents aren't the best and Yea I woke them up at 8 so my brother is missing school and so am I but He won't escape my parents there either. They will wake up at like 9am because they drank last night and hit my brother and its a whole mess and- I'm so sorry for rambling."

      The lady just stares at me. "Hm,You seem to have as much experience as you need. What days would you like to work? Today is Wednesday. I work Wednesdays and Friday's and of course I can always help the other days and can always use help." I smile.

      "I can work any days you want me too, I'm bringing Georgie if that's alright. I'd rather her not stay there." "We have a boy working Monday's and Tuesday's, If you want you can work Thursday's and Saturday's? Your first training day will be tomorrow. Does that work?" I nod. "Of course! Thank you!"

Ms.Jenz's POV

      This young lady came in with two little kids, bringing one to the older kid room and one over to me at the Daycare area. "Hello miss, Do you happen to have any job openings?       I just stare at her. I want to help this child, ( A/N: You've read up there I can't copy paste right now so I'm not typing all that XD ) Of course! Thank you!" I hired her. After she starts training I will see what I can do about these kids.

-Time Skip to 7pm past closing time and after the kids have left, still Ms.Jenz's POV-

      I call CPS. "Hello?" "Hello, I would like to report abuse." "Name?" "My name is Ms.Jenz. This 16 year old girl named Luna Crystal came to me and admitted that her parents drank and hit her little 9 year old brother. I would like to adopt them or at least have them away from that house." "Thank you for this information Ms.Jenz. We will get back to you when we make a decision."

      "Thank you,Have a lovely night." I hang up and get ready for bed. Those kids will be safe very soon.

Luna's POV⬇

      As we get home. Our parents glare at us as we walk in. "Where the f**k have you beannn!" Dad slurs. They're drunk. Figures. "We've been out. We'll get ready for bed." It was 8 but we needed to sleep away the problems. Georgie I put in her crib as I unlock my room.

      James brushes his teeth. I get some dinner which is mash potatoes and some chicken for my siblings. I cut up food for Georgie and feed her as James eats some. Forgetting he just brushed his teeth. After we all eat I brush mine&Georgie's teeth and James brushes his teeth again.

      I put Georgie in a onesie, and get into some pjs, and lay down holding Georgie waiting for James. He comes in and locks the door and lays down. We all fall asleep. The last thing I hear is my dad screaming.

-Time Skip next Morning-

      I wake up to Georgie crying and look to see James holding her. "What's wrong with Georgie?" "I don't know, She looks scared."
