Reaching Serenity

Chapter 2

Knott was enjoying the way Tew was squirming under him. He had missed this. The two-week business trip had been a torture for both of them. It was not that the two had never been away in the two-and-a-half years that they had been together, but it had never been this long. Knott had claimed Tew as his about six months into their relationship and they had decided to wait until both had settled into their jobs to start a family.

"Aahh..I missed you so much, Pii.." Tew moaned and Knott smiled kissing him deeply. Knott had returned home early evening. He had picked up Tew after his classes and they had a pleasant dinner together. The two were now rekindling their romance as the time apart had been difficult for both.

"I missed you too, my baby." Knott said as he bit down on the younger man's pink bud.

Tew's eyes were half closed as he arched his back, "Don't..go away for..ahh..so long..again..Pii." The younger man was clawing at Knott's muscular back, pulling him in, needing to be closer to his mate. Tew wished he could merge with his mate and never separate ever again.

"I won't. Or I will take you with me. You will come with me, right baby?" Knott said as trailed kisses down Tew's smooth stomach towards his treasure trail.

"I will, I promise."

"That's my good boy."

"Pii, please..hurry up. I'm so wet already.."

Knott chuckled, as he rubbed at the pad of his thumb against Tew's wet opening. He was just about to insert his finger when there was a loud thumping on the front door. Startled Tew and Knott looked at each other. Both were thinking of ignoring it when the thumping came again and continued longer. Knott sighed, getting up. He threw Tew's shorts at him as he himself got into his boxers. He threw on his bathrobe as the banging on the door became louder.

"Wait here. I will see what it is, okay. Don't do anything naughty, or you will be punished." Knott smirked as Tew chuckled but nodded.

The moment Knott opened the door he was surprised to see a pale and devastated Arthit outside. The shorter man didn't say anything but slumped forward, resting his head against Knott's broad hard chest.

"Arthit! Ai'Arthit, come in, come in." Knott pulled his friend inside as he heard Tew coming up behind him. He held Arthit and made him sit on the couch. Arthit took a few breaths and managed, "I have to pay for the cab...Don't have my wallet." Knott looked at Tew and the younger man immediately grabbed the wallet and went down to take care of the matter. It was apparent to both of them that something serious had happened.

Knott held Arthit close until he felt his friend slowly calming down. He brought him a cold bottle of water and put the kettle on for some calming tea. He knew he would have to wait patiently until Arthit felt comfortable enough to talk. He also knew Kongpob probably didn't know where Arthit was and would be worried sick. But that too had to wait.

Tew came back and sat down quietly next to Knott. When kettle boiled he stood up to get the tea for all of them. Arthit took small sips of the tea but still remained quiet. It was Tew who couldn't stand it anymore and broke the silence.

"P'Arthit, please say something. Does Ai'Kong know you are here?"

Suddenly Arthit met Tew's eyes and glared, "Don't say his name.."

"Arthit did you fight with N'Kong? It's no reason to run away like this. Did you come straight here or have you been running for hours?" Knott knew Arthit ran when he was stressed like this and the guilty look that Arthit gave him confirmed his belief.

Knott sighed, "Tew, why don't you call nong and tell him Arthit is here?"

The ex-head hazer shot up, "No, don't.!" Knott glared him down though, "Shut up! Your nong must be going crazy. How can you do this to him?" Tew was already messaging Kongpob though, so it really didn't matter what anyone was saying.

Arthit shouted, "He is not my nong! I am not even sure he wants to be anymore!"

Knott frowned, "What are you saying? Kongpob has been in love with you since his first day as a freshman. There has never been and there will never be anyone else for.."

Arthit cut him off, "If he loves me so much, why doesn't he take me?!"

Tew, who had returned a few moments back, said, "I have told Kong so many times, it doesn't work like that. The claiming part is not just an Alpha thing. We need to be claimed as well. P'Arthit , please sit down. I understand how you feel. I can't imagine what would have happened to me if my Pii was delaying claiming me like Kong is doing. I tried to explain to him so many times an Omega's side but..He is a stupid stubborn man.!"

Arthit seemed somewhat soothed by Tew's words, so Knott didn't say anything. Arthit sniffled a bit and it was Tew who held him this time. "P'Arthit, I will talk to that fool once again, okay. You can stay here for as long as you wish. Everything will be just fine. He loves you more than anything, of that I am sure." Arthit nodded. He felt the sincerity in Tew's words and felt better that he was not unnecessarily over-reacting. Just to know that someone could understand what he was going through, felt good. Tew left the two older men to set up the extra room for P'Arthit. It was another hour before all three men were calm enough to go to bed. When Knott got under the covers, Tew kissed him deeply, pouring all his feeling into it. Knott smiled at him, "Thank you Pii, for giving me everything." Fire blazed in Knott's eyes as he crashed their lips together once again. With the state which Arthit and Kong were currently in, they both considered themselves truly blessed.
