Chapter Seven
When I slowly drifted into consciousness, I was on my bed. Was it all a dream? LOL, NO! They should have known that wasn't going to work. I walked out to see them sitting on the couch. I sat backwards on a kitchen chair that was in the living room. "Hey you guys?"
"Yes?" They said at the same time. I smiled sweetly. Amy smiled back, the Doctor just looked wary.
"I had the weirdest dream."
"Oh, well, just a dream. Nothing to think about ever again." The doctor said. Damn, idiot. I thought back. Ahh, my head wound. "See, I don't think it is." I flipped my hair dow to see the wound that he had stitched up in my sleep.
"I told you it wouldn't work!"
"Well I had to try!" They bickered for a bit. I sighed and pretended to play with my nails. Finally, they stopped and looked at me. "Okay. I was kidnapped by psycho people. Okay. Good. I have a date. Okay. I am a normal person. Ya'll however, are crazy. I'm leaving. Okay. Okay." I walked out. I didn't want this. I didn't want this!
(Throat Clear) As the months passed, nobody spoke of the Torchwood incident. The three never gre any closer, and Anette remained cold. Doctor and Amy worried, thinking that at any moment she would demand to know what they were talking about. But she didn't. She was getting ready for her wedding. Finally, it was her birthday.
I woke up instantly, my alarm clock blaring. I slammed it off and shambled out, to make some coffee, only to be faced with "HAAAPPY BIIIRRTHDAAAAAY!" The Doctor was wearing a ridiculous party hat, grinning, and Amy was smiling with an equaly stupid party hat. A hat was strapped onto my head and a Selfie was taken. I blinked. "Um, good morning?" They laughed as I shuffled into the kitchen. On the dining room table, was a huge feast. "Holy crap. THANK YOU!" They laughed as I dug in. "I even forced the doctor to cook bacon!" Said Amy. I laughed, for the first time in forever. (LOL FROZEN ISN'T AS GOOD AS MULAN!) I scarfed down my breakfast, got ready for work, hollered goodbye, and left. Good day, good day.
