No one's POV

"Raise to 240 joules!"

"CLEAR!"

"Lumayo kayo ng konti"

"Raise to 300!"

"CLEAR!"

"Raise to 600!"

"Heartbeat's back Doc!!"

Napahinga ng malalim ang mga tao sa isang parte sa emergency area.

"Heartbeat's back, pero kailangan pa rin siyang magundergo ng tests."

Tumango ang isa pang doctor na naroroon, at nagsulat sa log book niya.

"His vitals are still not normal, please give me the results as soon as possible." Biglang sabi ng doctor, saka naman sumulpot ang isang detective, may ineembistigahan ding kaso ng isang pasyente na nandun din sa ER.

"Anong nangyari sa kanya?"

"Fell from a cliff, looks like nabalian ng hips, an arm and a leg, he'll undergo some tests pa."

"Hmm, interesting. He fell from a cliff? Doc, can you run a drug test on him? To see if he was drinking, or been using the drugs before the incident?"

"Brent, wala namang nagreport about dito, bakit gusto mong imbestigahan? Besides, it looks like an accident, he was on his motorbike"

"Well as you know Faye, may hunch akong hindi lang accident ang nangyari."

"Alright alright! Andyan ka na naman sa hunch hunch mo. Kung hindi ka lang malakas sakin."

"Does he have an ID with him or something? Sino nagdala sa kanya dito?"

"Well, I think. Ask for it at the desk, they have his belongings. I'm not sure I think it was someone who lived in the area. He's lucky because someone saw him in time. He barely made it."

Napatango na lang ang lalaki, saka nagpaalam na umalis at kukunin na ang belongings ng pasyente. Wala pa rin naman silang macontact kasi nawawala rin ang celphone nung pasyente. Pagkakuha ni Brent nung wallet ay syempre una niyang hinanap kung may ID. Nang makita ay, binasa niya ang pangalan...

Deirdre's POV

Hours before the incident...

"Deir, did you invite Myungsoo?"

"O-of course Mom, why?"

"No, no, nothing. He's a.. great man."

"I.. know."

"Everything's settled already?"

"And by everything you mean?"

"You, him and Shae. I suppose he knows you'll be married in a month?"

"Yes, I guess Mom."

"Good. So he knows where he's gonna stand right?"

"I-i don't know, we haven't talked about that yet."

"Alright, anyways I'm going to get something for Shae then I'll be back before the party starts."

Tumango na lang ako saka humalik sa pisngi niya. Pagkatapos nun umalis na si Mommy. It's 10am and the party starts at 3pm. Mostly mga relatives lang namin ang invited, plus yung classmates ni Shae and parents nila. And Myungsoo. No one knows that he's Shae's father. And I think I'll have to announce that later. Since for sure, lagi siyang hihilain at magiging kasama ni Shae throughout the party.
