"Your father should be home soon. I don't know where that man is." My fathers fiancé pursed her lips.

"Don't worry. I just dropped by to see if you was okay." I shrugged and threw my bag over my shoulder.

"I'll tell your father that you dropped by then. You get home safe, okay? And you make sure that you call me or you get your mother to so that I know you're safe." Regina pulled me into a hug.

"I will, G. Stop worrying. I'm 17 not 7." I laughed a little.

"I know, I know. Now, go ahead." She smiled.

I waved goodbye to Regina and I exited the house. I was a little upset that I didn't see my dad today but it's okay. I needed to get home because of how late it was. I had finished school and we chilled at Omar's house once again like we always do. After that, I needed to go to my fathers house but found out that he was still at work. It was okay, Regina and I spoke for quite sometime.

"Hello?" I said.

"Wassup, Maggie." Monty's deep voice flowed around the car.

I instantly smiled, "Hey. Wassup?" I said whilst trying to concentrate on the road.

"My parents literally just left town and will be back on Monday. So, I've got the house to myself and party is still on." He mentioned.

"That's great but won't you get into trouble?" I raised a brow.

"Nah, I won't. I've already let my mom know about it all and she's cool with it.".

"Wow, you sure do have some lucky ass parents, Montana." I chuckled to myself.

"Whatever. The party starts at 8 p.m, make sure you're there or we won't be friends." He stated laughing.

"I'll be there, don't worry." I smiled.

"Oh, and Callum's coming too." He referred to his cousin, "He's going to bring his friends but don't mind them, a'ight?".

"They'll most likely bring their girls around or something." He sighed.

"Why are you telling me all this? I'm not scared of them if that's what you think." I raised a brow once again.

"I'll talk to you when I get home, okay? Then, we can FaceTime and talk about other things.".

"Alright, whatever you say, Maggie.".
