She meets 20 year old Kain Matthews, who's well-known by all the ladies. Young and old. He's...

Mahogany locked the doors of her car before throwing her bag over her shoulder. School had finished not too long ago. She went with Natasha to grab a milkshake and to catch up on a few things that they didn't get a chance to talk about earlier during the day. Using her keys, she unlocked the door and heard laughter going on in the kitchen. She knew that it couldn't have been Prince because he's in college and her father was at work. She kicked the door closed with her foot and she dropped her duffle bag on the floor.
"Mama, I'm home. Who you talking with?" She yelled and it got a little quiet.
Mahogany entered the kitchen and noticed her mother laughing with Kain about something, "Kain?! What are you doing here?" She narrowed her eyes.
"I thought you'd be home by now but your mom told me that you had went out with Natasha." He shrugged.
"Instead of making him wait in his car, I invited him in. I mean, it's time I meet Kain. He's a lovely guy and I really do think that y'all are the cutest thing." Shereen smiled looking at Kain.
"So..you're not mad about him being..older?" Mahogany twisted her lips to the side.
"Maggie.." Shereen stood up and walked over to her daughter, "If your happy, then I'm happy too. It's your love life, not mine. I'm not gonna be here forever to help you with the decisions that you're going to make, baby." She sighed.
"Mom...don't..." Mahogany looked to the floor.
She hated it when her mom would say that. Shereen has got a long time ahead of her but Mahogany would hate it when either her mother or father will pull out the 'I won't always be here forever' card. It just made her get emotional realising that her parents are her world. They brought her into this world and it would just be sad knowing that they'd be taken out of it after they've accomplished their mission on this Earth. She knows that everybody will die eventually but just the thought of knowing that her parents are going to leave her in this mean world gets her a little upset.
"I've already cooked for you. Everything is there on the side. I should be home at 10 tonight but call me during my break, okay?" She kissed Mahogany's cheek.
"Alright, mom." She smiled before giving her mother a hug.
"Kain, it was lovely talking to you." Shereen grinned.
"Thank you, Ms Black. It was lovely talking to you too." He smiled as Shereen pulled him into a hug.
"Now, you be good, okay?" She looked at Maggie before leaving the house.
"What did you and my mom talk about?" Mahogany questioned as she grabbed a tin full of shortbread.
"Why does it matter to you?" Kain grabbed one also.
