"I'll see you tomorrow, a'ight?" Kain leaned over and kissed Mahogany.
"Do you have to leave?" Mahogany frowned.
"I've gotta head to work, ma." He licked his lips and placed his hand on her thigh.
"Mhm.." She slowly nodded her head.
"Don't be like that." He laughed.
"I'll pick you up tomorrow, is that cool?" He asked.
"I guess so." Mahogany shrugged.
After a long kiss, Mahogany got out of the car and walked up to her front door. It was 9 and Mahogany had come back from chilling at Kain's house. He needed to get to work due to an event that was going on at the club today. She entered the kitchen and found her mother cooking and Daina on her phone.
"Hey, mama." She smiled.
"How's my daughter doing?" She kissed Mahogany's cheek.
"I'm good, I'm okay." She grinned.
"How was your day with your boyfriend?" Shereen smirked.
"We didn't really do anything." She said putting her hand on Daina's shoulder.
"Wassup?" She said looking at Mahogany.
"Did Jontell call?" Maggie sat at the island.
"No. I was hoping that he would but he didn't." She pouted.
"I've got to get my hair done. You know where I can get my hair done?" She stood up and slid her phone into her back pocket.
"Uh...Natasha does my hair all the time too, if you'd like." Maggie shrugged.
"I'll call her and book an appointment, thanks." She said before walking upstairs.
The front door opened and Mahogany furrowed her brows. Idris walked into the kitchen whistling. She smiled and went over to him and gave him a tight hug. Shereen had given Idris a spare key to her house many years ago. Whenever the kids were alone and they needed something, he could just get in without no fuss. She trusts him enough and he does too.
"I feel like it's been forever since we've last seen each other." He grinned.
"I know. Where have you been, pops?" Mahogany said patting his back.
"I've been around." He chuckled.
"So, Shereen, how's it going?" Idris questioned.
"Uh, everything is fine. Yeah, everything is good." Shereen shrugged and smiled small.
