Pegasus and the people of Asgard

Sorry I haven't updated in a while I am trying as hard as I can but school has been overwhelming. I will try to update at least once a week if not twice and it will probably be at the weekend and or Friday night. Hope you enjoy the chapter I have been really looking forward to writing this one!!

"Uuurghh" I heard as a small moan escaped my lips, "why does school have to be so early" I complained to Joel. "Well  it isn't to different from the time you wake up to start your training" he countered. "But it is different because training is ok, School is not" I stated matter of factly. Even though I didn't like the wake up time I was secretly very excited to go to a normal school again and feel what it is like to just be a regular high school student.

           Time skip            

When we were all appropriately dressed and ready for the upcoming day we walked out the door of the apartment after making sure Pegasus was settled and comfortable and made our way to the stairs. "Do we have to make our way down there" Joel complained, "Emily and I aren't complaining!" Palen retorted smugly lifting a few feet off the ground with his winged sandals, Joel looked away only to see me doing the same with my newly discovered ability of flight. " Really !!" he exclaimed, annoyed at us.

"Don't worry Joel, it's only twenty stories" I teased, "Not funny" he pouted, I couldn't resist the adorable face of my boyfriend so I -seemingly reluctantly- lifted my boyfriend off the ground and we started to float towards the stairs. I noticed the boys were looking a little too relaxed so I accelerated the speeds to whip us down the stairs at 100 miles an hour. we ended up falling on our faces out into the bustling city of new York but it was totally worth it.

"URGH" Joel moaned " I think i'm going to Puke ""Feel, Nauseous" Palen muttered. I just sat down on the front steps of the apartment building looking at my to best friends laughing, watching them go green . When they finally recovered we set off down the street to our new school.

We arrived ten minutes later outside of the front of the once grand building. it must have looked amazing at some point in its life but that would have been years ago. I noticed the pealing paint and the missing windows, supports where some of the brick work was tumbling down and the strange white patch where a new coat of paint obviously hadn't worked. "here we are" I announced.

Unsure of what to do next, Joel Palen and I went to the reception area to be greeted by the same woman we had met yesterday. "hello! Hello! " she called Cheerily, "I suppose you have come for your schedules" The woman guessed. "We have " Joel replied in a kind voice. Just as she was getting the papers together I felt a strange chill up my spine, a foreign feeling that filled me with darkness and death, not unlike the cloud I have been dreaming of yet it was different, less menacing in a way.

I whipped my head around to see two teens just staring at me. One was a girl who looked to be around 18 yet she felt like she had seen more that her body betrayed and the other a male of about 17 who radiated death as if he was a living corpse. I glared at them making my eyes seem threatening whilst keeping my body posture neutral so not to alarm the boys at my side.

The boy shrunk back afraid, however the girl held my stare  and looked at me with a calculating look as if to figure out who -or better- what I was. 'Good luck with that' I thought. "Ah!" I heard a voice behind me say, interrupting our glaring contest, I made sure the redhead backed down first as not to seem weak. " the other new students, here are your schedules, I put you in the same classes so you wouldn't be the only new groups, isn't that great ! so you all have the same classes except your interest subject!" the woman declared, seemingly pleased with herself.

We each took our schedules :

English

Physics

(sorry I have no idea how American schools work)

I looked over at the death kids schedules and saw the boy had Tech as his interest subject and the girl had a free period like me 'Good  I can figure this out then' I thoughtWe headed to our homeroom to get registered and sat as far away from each other as possible, Boy this is going to be a loooooong day.

Palen's POV

I saw Emily's head whip around as we were about to be handed our Sched U Ally things, so me being the curious person I am turned my head as well. What I was not ready for was the absolutely breath-taking sight my eyes would fall upon. My vision tunnelled on to the most beautiful  girl  I had seen since I met Emily, She had cherry coloured hair which matched her full lush lips, kaleidoscope eyes that seemed to be all the coloured yet dominantly  green. she was wearing a laced bodice and a full skirt that went down to her ankles, a long brown coat with leather gloves to cover her hands. the only part of her that was not covered was her face.she looked like a doll with high cheekbones and smooth skin.

She looked almost In-human  , wait where did that though come from? Anyway from that fist glance I knew I was in love with the mysterious red-headed girl and that I would do anything in my power to make her love me back.

 I hope you enjoyed this chapter I finally managed to get something out, this was such an important scene and I just didn't know how to write it. I totally ship Freylen, I think they are just such a cute pairing, let me know if you want me to change it but I think it is amazing. thank you so much for reading every read means so much and plz forgive the spelling errors
