Sorry it's been so long my mind has just been blank. Anyway here's another chapter.

It had been a while since Emily left for Xandu and me and Palen were stuck just twiddling our thumbs so I decided to get a pack of cards out and track Palen how to play crazy eights. "So you place down some cards and then you win?" He asked as if that was all it took. "Errr Kinda, but No not at all. After a couple of rounds he began to get the hang of it and we began to have an actual game. I was just about to go out when we both heard a loud thump on the roof. Knowing it was Emily and Pegasus back we threw down our cards, uncaring of where they went, and raced up the stairs to greet the pair.

We settled on the roof so Emily could stay with Pegasus as I could tell she was feeling uncertain on  the situation at hand and was stroking Pegs for comfort. Palen and I listened curiously as she  explained the situation with Asgardians.

It turns out, Palen already knew they existed however to him and the Olympians they were just myths in the same way Xans were to them. According to Palen some of the 'myths' he had heard about in his childhood told that Asgardians were fierce, brave warriors that loved war, and while that was consistent with what Riza had apparently said, from the behaviour Freya had displayed and the way Emily had described their deal I just didn't see a ruthless warrior. Emily then transported us to their hotel room where they were staying in order to come up with a plan.

When we arrived, the swirling portal seemed to shock them but the biggest problem we had was Pegasus, who had tagged along to help Emily. Despite the initial bang on the head he seems to be fine lying down. We then proceeded to sit down on the beds in order to avoid the large spread out wings on the floor.

Surprisingly, they didn't seem too shocked at my metal arm except for a few glances from the younger boy - Archie was it? Nevertheless, it made me feel slightly better about the situation and I let my guard down slightly to try to gain their trust.

After much deliberation, we decided we would journey to Asgard and seek help from Heimdal as Freya has said he may be able to spot the source of the ever encroaching darkness. Freya called her winged horse, which looked slightly like a tan version of Pegasus, and hopped on with Archie mounting behind her. Since I was the only one who couldn't fly out of our group and Emily felt more comfortable on Pegasus so we both clambered on and set off behind them with Palen on our tails with his winged shoes

When we arrived Kai left for home saying he was glad he met us and hoped we would meet again someday. Following the plan, we decided not to alert anyone to our presence on Asgard because it was supposed to be an undercover mission for Archie and Freya. We stayed on the edge of the bifröst whilst Freya went off to grab Heimdal. Once she returned she had a rather regal looking warrior following her who had the same feeling as some of the Olympian warriors. "This is Heimdal" Freya introduced. "Heimdal, these are the people I told you about. This is Emily, Pegasus, Joel and Palen. Everybody, Heimdal has agreed to help us, the effects of the darkness is growing worse and, well, we need to try everything we can.

We all nodded to her statement and let Heimdal stand in our place at the edge of the bifröst. "I do believe I can see it" he exclaimed fairy shocked." I have looked before but this time feels different" I watched Emily wink as he shrugged it off to investigate later. The origin of the dark matter seems to be located in the United Kingdom, London to be more precise.

"I've always wanted to go to England" Archie had said in an Awful British accent, which caused Freya to burst out laughing. Simultaneously Emily, Palen and I shared a look, we all knew how well out last trip to England went and we can only hope we will not end back up in the same area as last time. Maybe this time there will be no casualties but given the situation it was highly unlikely. Regardless of our past experience in London we made a mutual agreement to put that behind us and to try to tackle the situation with a positive mind.

After our short silent conversation Emily quickly mounted Pegasus and I followed suit not wanting to be left in Asgard because that would be a seriously awkward situation. She turned around and I gave her a quick peck on the check reassuring her that everything was going to be ok. As soon as we were all ready we set off towards England in hope of completing the impossible task we had been set.
