I quickly get dressed in my school skirt, blouse and blazer. Running down the stairs, I say hello to my wonderful cat Quagmire (my brother loves Family Guy) and grab some breakfast.
"Hey, is Graham taking you to school?" my brother asks as I take a seat at the kitchen table.
"Yeah."
"Alright." My brother, Theo, continues to do whatever he's doing on his laptop. He's 24 and 'planning to move out soon'.
The doorbell rings and I leap up to answer it. Graham gives me a hug and I smile.
"Hey!" We turn around and notice Noel on the street, his arms crossed. I quickly say goodbye to my brother and close the door, before Graham and I make our way towards him.
"What are you doing here?" Graham asks.
Noel shrugs as we begin to walk towards the two schools. "I live further down the road. I'd walk with my little brother but he left earlier. I'm an embarrassment to be around, of course."
Graham chuckles as we reach the school the boys go to. I leave them at the gate before running towards my school.
The day is long and boring seeing as I don't have any friends at this school. Thankfully, my friends keep texting me.

I shut off my phone as the bell finally rings and I'm free. I quickly dash out of English and through the school gates before anyone catches me. My feet carry me towards the other school but before I get there, I stop in my tracks completely.
Noel is sitting on a bench, putting his phone back in his pocket.
