***********************************************************************

Central city

Wally's house

Present time

Robin and Wally were sitting in the living room eating some nachos in total silence, though Wally wasn’t really eating, he was too busy making fun of the Boy Wonder mentally because ironically he could do a lot of things but couldn’t cook. The awkward silence didn’t last for long though.

Robin: “Hey KF! Stop making fun of me! At least I didn’t burn half the kitchen like Bruce did last time he tried to cook something. You should have seemed Alfred’s face when he entered the kitchen it was priceless. That was 4 years ago and Alfred still doesn’t let Bruce be near the kitchen.”

Wally was actually laughing though he was a little freak out by the fact that Robin knew he was mentally making fun of him but he have learn a long time ago that it was a lost of  time trying to figure out a Bat.

Robin: “Here” he told me while handing me a photo of Alfred face and somehow a burnt pan that I have no idea where he got it from.

Wally: “How did you?! Where did you?! you know what? Never mind, I don’t want to know.”

He smirked.

Robin: “Bruce was trying to make pancakes.”

Wally could tell by the look he gave him that he was still concern about him but he put that thought to the back of his mind, for now.

Wally: “wow.. I really wish I was there, it must have been hilarious.” he told him with a small chuckle. Wally knew that Robin was just trying to make him feel better which work for a little while.

Robin: “it was” he told Wally and then he sigh and the room fell silence again but this time Wally decided to break it.

Wally: “Hey Rob?”

Robin: “yeah?”

Wally: “thank you.”

He smiled.

Robin: “That’s what friends are for.”

Wally knew he have to tell him everything eventually but he needed time to think and he was glad that Dick understands him so well that he didn’t push the topic any forward.

Artemis POV

Gotham City

Present time

It had been hours since I call Robin and I still haven’t heard anything from him or Wally.

Wally what’s going on with you? Why you would suddenly came and left me? You promise! You promise you would never hurt me! I knew I was breaking down but I couldn’t help it. I knew Wally didn’t meant what he said but it still hurt, A LOT. I didn’t want to, but I was starting to doubt about whether he love me or not. I wanted to believe that he love me, that it wasn’t truth what he told me, that there was just something going on with him but.. What if it was truth? What if Wally was telling the truth? Then what would happen? I couldn’t hold it anymore so I start crying I didn’t care about anything right now I just wanted the pain to go away. I wanted Wally, Baywatch, that stupid, annoying, idiot kid that make me smile even with the most ridiculous things. I wanted him so bad and it hurt that I couldn’t have him anymore, it hurt that he seems like he didn’t care, it hurt that there was nothing I could do except keep crying and I hated it because I was being weak but everything hurt so I just keep crying like there was no tomorrow. While I was deep in my thoughts I noticed a shadow going toward my room I quickly grab the bow and the few arrows I had hidden on the living room (yes, I’m paranoid sue me) and followed the shadow. When I got to my room I didn’t like what I saw.

“Hello baby girl, did you miss me?”
