Chapter 1 - Papyrus

The day Frisk fell into the underground was a joyous day for the monsters, they would finally be freed. But the reason to be happy changed for the monsters by the end of Her journey. But let's not jump ahead, we start in garden of flowers with a human lying on them.

A/N: The rest of this Chapter will be in Frisk's point of view.

 Oof that fall hurt, I really shouldn't try committing suicide by jumping into a mountain anymore. I then saw light coming from a door a the end of the cave so I walked through. "Aww how sad a sad flower, I wonder if it can talk-". "Hello I'm Boogie, Boogie the Flower, you're new to the underground right?". "Uhh yes I am", I say in a very confused manner. "Well I guess I can teach you how things work around here" as he says that a glowing heart appears in front of my chest. "That's your soul it's your essence, it can get stronger if you gain lv" I notice how everything he says, he says in a depressing manner. "What's lv", I ask getting more and more interested in the topic. "Lv stands for uhhh ............. love?" He says this in a non-confident way. "The more love you get the stronger your soul gets, but right now your soul is weak so enemy attacks will hurt more". Right after he says that a little pellet appears "this is a bullet it's only one so it won't hurt that bad, run into it if you want I don't care". The bullet flies towards me and I let it hit me. -19 damage "that did more than I thought it would, I'm sorry-", a fireball hits Boogie and cuts him off. +19 hp "WHAT A TERRIBLE WEED TORTURING SUCH AN INNOCENT HUMAN" a tall skeleton wearing a dress stood in front of me yelling that. When I try to explain that the flower was helping me He interrupted saying "OH WHERE ARE MY MANNERS, MY NAME IS PAPYRUS. I AM THE GUARDIAN OF THESE RUINS. I COME HERE EVERYDAY TO SEE IF A HUMAN HAS FALLEN, YOU ARE THE FIRST TO FALL IN A LONG TIME.". This was very intresting because there seemed to be no one around but Papyrus. We went through some puzzles after this until we came to a point where he had to leave me. So I went through the rest of the underground myself meeting and sparing every monster I came by. Right when I came to Papyrus's house he came outside and seemed to try and call me but was inturupted by the sight of me. "HUMAN WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE I TOLD YOU TO STAY BACK AT THAT HALLWAY. ARE YOU HURT, LET ME HEAL YOU WIth SOME MAGIC. I SHOULD HAVE NEVER LEFT YOU ALONE FOR SO LONG, THAT IS WHAT I GET FOR TRYING TO SUPRISE YOU." "Huh", I question. "OH WELL NO NEED TO HIDE IT ANY LONGER, FOLLOW ME." So I followed him into his house and to a room. "SINCE YOU WILL BE STAYING HERE FOR A WHILE I MADE UP A ROOM FOR YOU, I ALSO MADE YOU A BUTTERSCOTCH CINNAMON PIE. I WILL HOLD OFF THE SPAGHETTI PIE FOR MUCH LATER. SNIFF SNIFF, DO YOU SMELL SOMETHING BURNING, OH NO THE PIE!" As he left I went into the room to check it out and ended up falling asleep. When I woke up I found a piece of pie on the floor, so I picked it up. I the went into the living room and asked when I could leave. "EXCUSE ME FOR A SECOND I NEED TO DO SOMETHING." I thought that was suspicious so I followed him down the stairs and through some hallways. "SO YOU WISH TO LEAVE THIS PLACE, WELL AT THE END OF THIS CORRIDOR IS THE EXIT TO THE REST OF THE UNDERGROUND. I AM GOING TO DESTROY IT." "LIKE HELL YOU ARE YOU BAG OF BONES" I scream not knowing what he'd say next. "HUMAN I HAVE SEEN IT AGAIN AND AGAIN A HUMAN COMES THEY LEAVE THEN THEY DIE. HUMAN IF YOU LEAVE THE RUINS THEY ,SANS, WILL KILL YOU." We then came to the exit to the rest of the underground, as we got there Papyrus faced me with tears in his eyes. "HUMAN IF YOU WANT TO LEAVE SO BADLY THEN PROVE YOURSELF, PROVE TO ME YOU ARE STRONG ENOUGH TO SURVIVE." Then the battle commenced, me sparring and Papyrus attacking me with bones. "HUMAN WHY, WHY DON'T YOU FIGHT BACK I AM TRYING TO PROTECT YOU SO PLEASE. ........... I UNDERSTAND YOU WOULD BE UNHAPPY LIVING WITH ME." As he says that the attacks stop and we are left standing and talking. "HUMAN UNDERSTAND IF YOU LEAVE HERE YOU CAN NEVER COME BACK". He then hugs me and leaves, I am left standing there crying.
