Chapter 6 - Settling into the Surface

2 months after the barrier was broken

When I woke up the sun was already out and Papyrus was starring at me. "SMALL FRISK YOU HAVE BEEN SLEEPING FOR QUITE A WHILE. WHAT WERE YOU DOING LAST NIGHT THAT HAS GOTTEN YOU SO WORN OUT?" When Papyrus asked this my face turned bright red as I thought about the "stuff" me and Chara did. I decided to just tell him I worked out and that was it, after that I went downstairs and got some breakfast. It has been 2 months since I broke the reset button now the only thing I can do is save and load. The bad thing though is I can only load when I die this means if someone else dies I can't go back and save them unless I die too. But as of now nothing bad has happened. Gaster has taken up the position of king, Asgore and Toriel are back to being a nice couple, Chara and I are getting "along", and Napstablook didn't turn back into a flower. The last thing is that I was officially adopted by Papyrus once the humans let the monsters stay in the town near Mt. Ebott.

"hellooo pretty mirror how are you this fine evening", Chara said this whilst sneaking up behind me. "Okay" I said, my voice a bit raspy but getting there, "hey your voice is getting better, maybe eventually you will be talking in full sentences without a single cough". I nodded my head and fixed up some breakfast for a Chara and put a butt load of chocolate on it. "Why thank you mirror for knowing me so well, now tell me. how was "last night"? When she asked this my face turned red and I whispered in her ear, "That toy you got was Amazing, even better than you". She looked at me and her face started melting into tar, "now now mirror don't you know how much it hurts when you get me mad." I then got up and ran to my room locking it before Chara could catch up. But she appeared behind me and started tickling me until I couldn't breathe. So we fell on the bed and rested until we looked at each other and the rest happened on instinct. 

After an hour of "stuff" Chara left and I went on patrol, if I didn't mention I'm a cop which Chara seems to love. As I was patrolling I saw a guy with a black smoke-like whip trying to cause havoc on the street so I ran towards him with a sword and shield summoned. "Hey!", I yelled right as I ran into him with my shield. "Oh no I wasn't expecting you so late" he said this with a crooked smile that seemed plastered on. He then sliced his whip at me which I dodged with ease. "Who are you", I signed confused who this guy was. "Ah my name is Ash and I am the embodiment of the void. Because you destroyed it I have now come to reap all of your friends souls." I then looked at him and my eyes turned purple from all of my rage towards this person. But before I could get an attack in he got the end of his whip around my leg, and threw me into a house which collapsed on me. When I got up it was night and he was gone so I went home limping and cuts all over my body. When I finally reached home Papyrus and Chara were looking at me with tears in their eyes. "FRISK WHERE WERE YOU WE HEARD THERE WAS THIS TERRORIST ATTACK AND YOU WERE THERE", Papyrus was on the verge of tears, when Chara butted in. "mirror i know i said that i liked the cop thing but it's dangerous", I told them I was fine and that I was tired so I went to bed.

The next morning I woke up to see Chara bandaging me up like the great girlfriend she is. Afterward I tried to get up but she pushed me back down with a sinister grin on her face. "No moving mirror i have plans for you, now no struggling." She then got on top of me but before she could do anything a bone hit her in the face. "ow that hurt paps why do you have to do that to your future daughter-in law". Papyrus looked at her with so much anger I thought he was going to kill her. "CHARA THAT IS MY DAUGHTER YOU WERE ABOUT TO DO THINGS TO AND SHE IS TOO YOUNG TO MARRY AND UNTIL THEN YOU MAY NOT DO THINGS TO HER EVEN ONCE". Chara then looked at me with a smile, "uhh too late paps i've defiled mirror like seventeen times". When I thought about it she was right which made me embarrassed that she told Papyrus. "OH MY GOD WHY AND HOW, WAIT NO NEVERMIND THAT LAST THING I DON'T WANT TO KNOW. OK WELL YOU WON'T BE DOING THAT AGAIN YOU HEAR ME." Chara then looked at me a little disappointed and teleported away afterward I went downstairs and ate. After a few hours of doing absolutely nothing I decided to go on patrol despite what Chara and Papyrus said. The day was otherwise peaceful so I stopped patrolling after a few hours and went to get some ingredients for dinner.

Once I went to bed Chara teleported back into my room once she knew Papyrus was asleep. We both laid down and talked about this new void guy who seemed a bit creepy. "so his name's Ash and the void created him just to murder all of us in the most nightmarish way possible. you know I would really love to give this guy a bad time and make sure he never messes with any of us." I told her I would figure out a way to beat him and that Chara should not get involved but she got mad and slapped me. "sorry but that is not going to happen this guy didn't get even a little hurt by you and you have a broken leg. we either do it together or not at all now let's go to sleep you are going to need it." So we both went to sleep, Chara keeping one eye open just in case.

A/N: Ash is pretty op but you would be too if the void created you just for the purpose of killing the most powerful human in history. Also if you are a bit confused Gaster created the void when he fell in the core so without him the void has no reason to exist. Right before the void went into non-existence it created Ash so it could stay alive. Now Ash wants revenge, got it, no ok.

Also I will eventually make Ash seem a bit less op, Author out
