Chapter 5 - The End of the Barrier and the Void

My life before falling into the underground was hell. I was treated like crap by my father and my mother left when I was a baby. If I talked back even for a second my dad would choke me until I passed out. So I tried to kill myself by jumping into this mountain thinking that the fall would kill me. But instead something wonderful happened and I survived, in result I met all of the monsters in the underground who are so nice. I am so grateful to have met all of the monsters they are way more of a family than I'll ever have in my entire life. So I will do whatever it takes to set them free including Chara. 

As I walked into the throne room dread fell upon me. Have I done enough, should I go back, maybe I should've gone on a date with Chara. These things were going through my brain but the biggest feeling was determination. "ah you are here, kiddo I'm sorry it has to be this way. Maybe in another time we could've been friends but I have a duty. Meet me at the barrier when you are ready." Sans seemed sad that this was going to happen but determined to do it. I found myself at the barrier and sans standing in front of me looking like he was about to make a huge mistake. "well kid it was nice meeting you, prepare to die" then before he could do anything a bone hit him in the face. "NOW NOW, SANS DO NOT HURT THE HUMAN THEY DID NOTHING WRONG." Papyrus was standing there in his wonderful dress looking at sans with a stern look. "pap I- "DO NOT CALL ME THAT YOU SACK OF BONES I HAVE NOT FORGIVEN YOU YET". Then Toriel came out looking worried, "nobody fight please I don't want the child hurt". Then Chara came in looking a bit lazy "hey um...  never mind no one is fighting". "WAIT I RECOGNIZE THAT LAZY VOICE, ARE YOU THE GIRL ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE DOOR". "uhh yeah that's me you must be papyrus, my name's chara", I thought it was cute seeing the two meet but I felt a little jealous of Papyrus too. "WELL IT IS NICE TO MEET YOU CHARA", "you too "king" papyrus" he got a little mad at that word. Then in the chatter Asgore, Undyne, and Alphys came into the room. We all were talking and stuff until Asriel came in. "Hey guys no fighting we need to be friends. Oh uh no one is fighting, well that's good". "wait asriel if you weren't here before us how did you know frisk would be here?", Chara asked very confused about the situation. "Oh a little flower told me", "oh no a little flower", Asgore said looking scared for his life. "Well well Well looks like my plan worked I got everyone to trust me just enough to get you all here", Boogie came out looking at everyone with a creepy smile. Then everyone but me was lifted up by a vine and seemed to have their life force sucked from them. "Ah now Frisk, my plan can finally commence give me your soul or I'll rip it from your body." I shook my head but when I tried to move I noticed the box my soul is in shrink until I couldn't move. Tears appeared and started slowly moving towards my soul but some bones appeared and blocked them. "DO NOT WORRY HUMAN I PAPYRUS WILL NOT LET HIM BRING YOU HARM". Then all of the monsters in the underground that I spared showed up. "What is with you people and kindness it only brings suffering. But I guess it has helped me now I can take all of your souls and be a god." Everyone started to fade away and everything went black except for a single ghost. "Ahh it's so nice not being a flower, oh hi Mettaton are you ther it's me your cousin. N A P S T A B L O O K". He started to attack me and I just let him because I know he doesn't want any of this. "You know... I don't care about destroying this world anymore because it wouldn't matter so I am going to reset it. And we'll keep doing this Over and over because you'll keep doing it. Your determination will be your downfall just like Metta. I know you're not him mettat has been gone a long time you are much worse "Frisk". I know what you'll do after you get your "happy ending", you'll reset everything and kill everyone. I know this because I did the same thing I was bored of everyone being happy so I used my new found determination to reset and find a new ending. But this, this is FUN I LOVE this I want to go through this ending again and again until you give up. You aren't giving up huh? Well it doesn't matter your friends are already forgetting you." Then a option showed up named "Save" so I pressed it and everyone I've met showed up. So I started saving them and bringing their memories back one by one. "What are you doing stop ohhhh no this isn't apart of the plan, this wasn't supposed to happen. You can't beat me not now, not ever if you beat me I won't get to see you again Metta, stop!" Then one more person showed up and I knew what to do because a new friend was helping me. I started talking about all of the good times he had with Mettaton, all of the laughs and cries and how it's all in the past. Then everything went white before Napstablook showed up again wearing a blue striped shirt. "Ohhhh noooo I was being a crybaby again I am so sorry Metta. I am also sorry to you Frisk I was being harsh and acted like that flower. Ohhhh I know a way to make up for it, I can break the barrier." And so he used the souls to break the barrier and he set all of the souls free. "Now I am going to become a flower again so just forget this ever happened." I ran up and tried to hug him but I just passed right through. "Oohhhhh noooooo I'm sorry I am a ghost so you can't touch me, ahh now I'm making things awkward bye." And he was gone like that, everything then turned white and I was in the room right before the barrier room. "frisk are you alright i was so worried about you i thought you died", Chara said looking at me almost crying. I stood up signed I was fine and kissed her not noticing everyone else starring at me. "UHHH FRISK YOU DO KNOW WE ARE ALL HERE AND ALSO, CHARA GET AWAY FROM MY CHILD!!" Chara jumped away looking terrified for her life and I was standing there super embarrassed about what I just did. "uhh well I think we should go see the surface because the barrier is destroyed." Sans said this and my face lit up I signed I had to do something and I grabbed Chara's hand. I started running dragging Chara with me until we got to snowdin. "okay what are you doing, why are we here", she asked looking at me confused. "Gaster" I spoke coughing right after blood coming up. She looked at me surprised by the words and tears welling up. "Don't do that again you hear me, I don't want you ever coughing up anything vital to your health!", she yelled hugging me until I had to gasp for air. "also gaster said not to come get him until the next reset or something. Why are we going to get him now?" I signed how I was going to destroy the reset button so I wouldn't get the urge to reset, and that before then they need to get Gaster. Chara nodded her head and we ran to the lab turned on the machine and found ourselves back in the void. "I guess I was wrong about you Frisk, maybe you aren't like that flower or Chara. Well I am glad to see both of you now let's go". Gaster came out of the cabin and we went back to the lab. Once we got there Gaster's eyes turned orange in the right and blue in the left. "Oh my god it is so nice to be back look at this lab isn't it wonderful. Now I am going to go see my children see you later you two." He seemed excited to be back so I didn't tell him about how his kids are not on the best terms. "so now what mirror how are you going to destroy the reset button", Chara said as her eyes turned a glowing red. I pulled up the button and started to punch it over and over. It started to crack but it wasn't enough so I took out a knife and sliced it, and in one shot it was cut in half and exploded.
