Watching the morning fall into the blinds I knew it couldn't have been no later than 10:00am . Tossing and turning in my sleep , I knew it was gonna be a matter of minutes before Milian woke up. Honestly that's maybe what I needed , my mind was so filled with confusion , and emotions , maybe what I needed was for her to stop time with her smile and allow me to breath. I never really notice until now but when she's around I hardly ever felt stress because in all actuality she took care of any that came my way. She was peace that I needed ,and the sanity in my chaotic world. Watching her hand trail up my arm notifying me that she was awoke I decided to turn to face her. Caressing the side of my face a confused expression spread across her's. "Why are you awake so early love , wassup?" She questioned trying to read my eyes. To her question I didnt have a answer , hell to my thoughts I couldnt explain. Her expression became more concern the longer I stayed silent. "Khelani ?" She questioned now sitting up against the headboard. Now laying across her lap I finally got my words together to explain how i felt. "I'm scared , I'm scared that if I actually fall deeper in love with you you'll disappear, just like everything else does " I said barely above a whisper. I was ashamed to admit my fear, it was something I didnt want to be true. Wiping the hair out of my face, Milian let out a soft sigh. Her expression was soft and her eyes were filled with great understanding. "Babygirl I understand that completely but I've never been so sure that I'm here to protect you and not hurt you" Her words sent chills down my spine and warmth through my heart. I believed her which gave me confirmation that I was ready to love her deeper. "Okay " was all I could say before reaching up to her face. Before my hand could connect she grabbed it and kissed it. Why can't I touch her face I thought. Brushing the thought away I went up to kiss her and she kissed me back. Getting so lost into her I never notice Chasity walk into the room. "Uhhum "she loudly cleared her throat demanding our attention. "Ooooohhh motherfucking Kay , see I knew this was gon happen I just ain't know when " Chasity chimed with excitement. Jumping across the bed Chasity laid at the foot of the bed waiting for us to say something. Milian and I just gave each other a look assuming that our kissing session is over. "It's still early why are you up , and filled with so much energy " Milian asked a tad bit annoyed. "For your information dickhead it's definitely 12:30 in the afternoon" Chasity clarifies turning on her back to get on her phone. Jumping up to retrieve her phone Milian dashed into the bathroom. "Damn sonic you forgot your coins" Chasity mocked as she moved closer to me. "Shut the fuck up" was all the could be understood from her toothpaste & water mixed mouth. I giggled as they went back & forth. "So when did this happen huh?" Chasity questioned as she gestured from the bathroom back to me. I blushed at the thought of Milian even though she was in the next room. From her low dark eyes to her beautiful laugh. "Ahh man I dont know really know, she just does something to me , she makes me feel different you know? It's a different vibe I get from her something I never experienced and I just want more." I explained. "Awe that's too cute it takes a while for my sister to warm up to people let alone love ... so you must be special"she said "how do you figure she loves me ?" I questioned getting deeper into the conversation. "The way she looks at you trust me I know my sister , so with that being said take care of her because she's fragile" she said walking out the bedroom. "Oh I will trust me" I called to her causing her to laugh at my eagerness. Looking towards the bathroom I notice a freshly showered Milian standing in the doorway. She stood there with an amused expression written across her face. "Why are you staring at me like that it's type creepy" I questioned feeling the blood rush to my cheeks. "I can look at what belongs to me kehlani , and oh you gon take care of me huh?she asked drying her damp hair off. I did nothing but smiled and nodded showing that she was right. Pulling my face close to her's I nearly fainted from her sweet smell. "Go get dressed you going wit me today okay?" She commanded. Normally I would have had a smart remark but at that moment I was stuck. Helping me off the bed , wrapping my legs around her waist she guided me to my room and sat me on the bed. "Find something real cute and chill to wear we leaving in 15 minutes , I set an alarm on your phone and placed it on the dresser, it starts now" and with that she disappeared into the hallway. Not wasting any time I climbed into the shower grabbing my toothbrush and toothpaste on the way. After a quick shower and hygiene check I was ready to find something to wear. Champion crop top, ripped blue jeans , and my red/white/blue Air Forces. Noticing I only had 8 minutes I rushed to grab my items and put them on. It wasn't the fact she told me I had to be dressed by a certain it was the excitement of having to be ready by a certain time against her. I love a challenge. After tussling with my belt for the last time I was finally dressed. All that was left to do was my hair. A quick slick pony tail would have to do today. Insuring that my part was now and neat and my baby hairs were laid I was finally dressed. Ding ding ding ding the alarm on my phone went off and in walked Milian. She wore her red champion hat, a clean white V neck, blue jeans and the same exact shoes as me. "Awe that's cute you wanna be like daddie , I like it" she mocked admiring me from head to toe. I flicked her off and gave myself one more glance into the mirror. Coming up behind me Milian wrapped her arms around me and snuggled into the nape of my neck. "Oh so now you wanna be sweet huh?" Asking in my sarcastic tone. "Oh shorty I'm always sweet you'll find out soon enough" she mumbled against me. Taking the opportunity to take a few pictures I opened Snapchat and did just that. After a few filter and a couple of different poses we were ready to go. "Alright Chaz we gone lock up if you leave" Milian called out ."I know crusty nigga love you be safe" she responded coming around the corner. "Love you too lani" "love you too " we replied simultaneously. "Oooouuuu Chile y'all cute cute " Chasity chuckled. Shaking my head at her we walked to the car, got it in , and pulled off. A ride with my baby is all I need to make my day better. She's all I need to be better.
