Liam grew very busy. He made it through boot-camp and was now with One Direction. Liam went to his band mate, Harry's house to get to know the boys and practice. He still skyped me every day. And then they were back to the X factor. Liam got even busier. He could barely skype or call me. I watched all of their video diaries. I was happy to see that he was having a great time.
After placing third in the finals, he got a record deal. I was so happy and proud to be his best friend. But I just wanted him to come home.
He acted like nothing changed when he came back. But he had to leave again. And then after a year of coming and and going, our skypes turned into occasional texts. His followers on twitter skyrocketed. I tried tweeting him, but he never replied. I felt distant from him, so I called him. He never answered his phone.
I eventually gave up.
