2010:

I went to Liam's house straight from school as usual. My school ended half a hour earlier than his did. I was home-schooled until my cancer went away. Then I got to go back to school.

I usually got to Liam's house before he did, but I know where their spare key is just in case no one was home. Mrs. Payne was home this time, so she just opened the door for me. I chatted with her for a bit, and then I started my homework on the table. I heard Liam walk in.

   "Hi, Leeyum," I said.

"Hey. Lets get something to eat and start working, I have a lot of home work," he said. I nodded in agreement.

"Can you get a cup for me?" I asked as I struggled to reach the the glass on a high shelf.

"Get it yourself. You can stand on a chair," he said. I shot him a look. I was pretty small, only five foot six. Where as Liam was five foot nine.

"Liam James Payne! Never talk to a woman or a friend that way! Use your manners!" Mrs. Payne scolded.

"Okay, fine I'll get you a stupid cup," he mumbled. I smirked at him and then I filled the glass with water and brought my homework into Liam's room. We spread our papers all on the floor and got to work. I was really jumpy. I wanted to tell Liam something, but I didn't know how he would react. I just decided to tell him.

"James asked me out," I said, smiling.

"What? Did you say yes?" he asked sharply.

"Ah, yeah. Of course, I did, Iv'e been talking about him for weeks Liam," I said. He didn't seem as supportive as he used to. Maybe it's because he's single right now, maybe he's just jealous.

"Don't worry, Liam, girls will be crawling all over you after the X factor," I said. Liam had his X factor auditions in two months.

We finished our homework and I started to play the guitar to a random tune, and Liam warmed up him voice. Everyday after doing our homework, I would help Liam prepare for the audition. He was going to do great. I knew he was.
