Although my sis has married a rich businessman, she had a lot of problems in her marriage at the earlier stages. Reggie was a nice guy, I fondly call him Reg, but then he proved out to be a best guy my sis has ever got.Reg and my sis Audrey have been my sole reasons to survive. My sis is already my sis, I always wanted an elder bro and Reg proved to be one best brother anyone can get.
I am at my late 20's and I do not want to get married so soon. I mean my life is about to live, not to get entangled in a fuzzy relationship and I am not in any sort of relationship- what they call as trend. Working at Diamond Grills Café, I got friends in the form of these guys- Ursula Stanley – my batch mate who apparently became my best friend. Chase Rolland – the NZ Kiwi and my crush. I do like him, not by his looks but by his antics.mine, Ivan Berkfield- my buddy and all time friend.I mean surrounding by them makes me feel less burdened.They understand me like no one else does. Well by the way, I haven't given an introduction of myself- I am Anna Michelle Davis. Or maybe just Anna.
I wanted to say Chase what I feel for him, but I am scared saying so because I never liked any guy in my life so far. It's not that I fear whether he'll turn me down. I just want to say what is in my heart. Until destiny struck in the form of Chase's girlfriend, I wanted to say, but it looks as if I need not take struggles anymore. They both entered hand in hand, Emily was her name. ChaMily was their shipping name. Now that Chase has become someone else's I am still back to the singular phase. Ivan understood the mental trauma I was facing and so he gave me a hug to console myself. I got a call from my sister regarding the medical checkup and she and her baby are alright and the delivery is on December this year. Now that I have dual responsibility of an aunt and for myself, I must settle soon in life and find someone worthy before.
As I was talking to my sis, I could hear someone yelling at Jess. I went in to check who it was.
"I have ordered bronto burgers and you brought me a Chicken tropical burger. What kind of a cafe is this? Have you got no shame ?"
Andrew and I rushed in and he was a guy who was probably a businessman. Andrew was pacifying him and Ursula got him a Bronto burger. He had bodyguards and looked real creepy.
"I am so sorry Sire. I'll make sure this doesn't happen next time." Ursy took Jess in and Ivan went with him too. "Andrew, I am excusing her this time. If this happens once again, this cafe is banned and you will be forced to live on streets."
"OK THATS IT!!! I had enough of your whining and rulings mister. YOU might be a good friend to Andrew but this is not your throne to rule others."
"HEY,WATCH WHO YOU ARE TALKING TO YOUNG LADY!" one of the guards threatened me.
"OH YEAH!LET ME SEE WHO IS THIS BIG GUY?" while I was about to face that big business guy for what he did to Andrew and Jess, Andrew stopped me from budging towards him-
"Its not the right way to speak to a royal heir Anna. He's the Royal Prince of the Zandar empire-Prince Philip III. Anything he wishes for is our command. We must oblige to whatever he says. That's the order"
"Says who?" I asked out of amusement
"Me!!! And let me confirm that this cafe is under the contract offered by the empire of Zandar . Now if you excuse us, we would like to move from here and yea you know where do you belong... right there- in the trash in the deepest sand of the sewer."
Anna Michelle Davis doesn't have parents which possibly doesn't sound that she's from the sewer.
"Guys like you don't deserve a life and you know what the mouth stinks by the bronto burger so you better check whether you are brought from the sewer. Cos I don't have time to speak chap-chap about people around me."
"This is not how you keep yourself adhered to your limits would you.... Connan bring the briefcase!!!"
I don't know what he's trying to do.
"Someone who's worth a penny work and misbehaves with a prince like me"
"SO what ! I don't care if you are a prince or duke or an angsty teen who is in his mothers makeup. Everyone deserves to be treated with respect and same applies to you mister."
That arrogant guy took a bunch of notes and threw it on my face.
"This is the reason why you fly high in the sky. Andrew pays good and so you and your family is fed by that. I hope I won't see you again lady... lets make a move"
THAT JERK. HE JUST DISHONOURED MY PRIDE INFRONT OF PEOPLE IN THE CAFE.
HE'S GONNA PAY FOR IT. AND IT'S NOT FOR SO LONG....
