INSECURE

"Aaaaachoooooo!!!!"

Wow that's a loud one to come at this point ... Guess I shouldn't have touched that dusty roof... It's okay.
We have so much to do and no planning yet.

With days passed, one thing has definitely changed ... My alliance and friendship with Mr. His Highness. After that black eye injury, it changed his mind... I guess he deserved that... Oww I sound sadistic but sometimes people need a jolt of electric shock.
And now we are friends to be more precise and that's a long long story which I'll save for later purposes.

I walked through the corridor to meet Ryan regarding the pre wedding ceremony theme and I heard something falling on ground.  It was coming from Ophelia's room.

I was worried what could possibly happen to her and when I went, the stuffs are all scattered. It looked like she threw all the vase, antiques etc out of anger... And there she was lying on the floor.

"Hey" I called her to check if she was fine.
" Oh Anna... Hey. What's up?" She responded .

It was clear from her face that either she was sleepless or she had been crying for a long time.

"You okay?"
" Yea yea perfect... Nothing to worry about."
"You know you can share to me if you're feeling low... Unless you wish to"

She was upset, definitely upset about something. But she didn't feel like telling to anyone...

"Okay I got that... Guess I'll see you later.."

She began to cry while I was leaving the room. I went to her but she was inconsolable. She hugged me and cried...

" It's okay kiddo... Whatever it is .... It'll be fine." I held her reassuring her that everything is gonna be just fine.

"You can tell me what happened... Unless you won't... I can't tell you a solution."

She looked at me...

O:" Anna, have you ever felt ignored by someone in your family. Like someone whom you look up to..."

A: The only person I look up to is my sis and brother in law... And as far as I remember I don't think she ever ignored me as such.

O: You know, I always wanted people to understand me the way I am... Not they assume me of. And my life it's been under shadows of Jade.

A: what do you mean?

O: I don't know if I'm worth this royal life... You know what I always wanted... It's not this royalty and treasures that I'm proud of, I want my family to be proud of me irrespective of who I am and what happened in the past.

Alright I know you're confused with what I say... I don't think Philip considers me as his sister at all...

I was surprised with what she just said... She was insecure.

A: Mr. His Highness? You're kidding right.

O: No ... I am not. I agree we had a complex childhood. I never hated anyone nor went against the rules the kingdom had. I always try my level best to prove others that I am worthy of their love.
He has been ignoring me since I was a little girl and has always cared about Jade. He shares a good rapport with Ryan who himself is adopted.

A: Wait Ryan is adopted??? Does he know about that.

O: yes he does... He was our cousin. His mom Aunt Lilian is our dads lil sis. They died in a car accident. And we took him in with us.

A: I don't call it as adopted. Whatever

O: I was a messy girl and I assumed that this character of mine is why Philip despises me so much....
And I tried living like Jade and did everything she did. All just to make my brother realize that he has a younger sister and to get his love.

But all my efforts went in vain... I feel so useless. I love my brothers more than anything in this world and to think that he doesn't love me back ...
Kills me deep inside. I am so useless Anna..

When Ophelia was sharing her sadness, I could relate this to some extent.

A: I am so sorry that you had to go through this. Did you ever confront this with him?

O: he doesn't speak at all

A: I don't know... Moreover I don't have the right to interfere in your family matters but, as much as I've seen your brother, he loves his family way more than anything else. Do you remember when you and Ivan were captured by those gangsters... He risked his Life saving yours.

Ophelia, if you feel something's bothering you two... You must confront him.
Long back when i was in high school, I had differences with my friend and I used to break things in class and it didn't helped me much. All I did was to gather courage and went to them and resolved it all. It was tough but worth a try

O: I tried confronting him, but he wasn't available at all. I am a coward, but all I wish is someone like an angel... To convey this to my brother.
Or maybe make him realize this.

A: It will be alright... Some things take time, and don't worry about the remainder part. I'll take care of that....

Right now, chin up girl... You have a wedding to be in, freshen up and get back to your feet, cos Zandar needs a princess who's confident, kind and badass not the one who's snowy meltman... and if you feel lonely or sad, you're free to talk to me...

I got up and went to the door and she called me again.
"Anna, thanks a lot... I owe you one."

"You're welcome highness."

As I passed through it, I went to Ryan's room and discussed the theme for pre wedding ceremony and things have been shortlisted. All we need to do is call and organize. And at night just sleep it off...
