Shining Eyes (A Warrior Cats Fic)

Chapter 2

"Uuughh." Berrykit meowed as the weak sunshine shone on her face. She got up quickly, knowing she will be apprenticed today. She was so excited that she could throw up now. (lol i don't know if that happens to you but when im excited i feel like im gonna throw up) She started grooming. She has to look perfect when she meets the Clan and Spottedstar, the leader.

She knew that her mother and everyone in the nursery hates him. She didn't know why, but she wanted to know, she thought "When i get apprenticed, maybe I'll get to know him better."
She saw Sandykit walking towards her. Berrykit greeted her sister by bumping noses. Then they heard Spottedstar's call to the Clan
"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather around Dawnrock!"

Berrykit jumped in excitement. She ran as fast as a cheetah and sat in front of the crowd of curious cats.
She heard her name said by a ginger tom that was sitting with a group of other cats. She raised her ears to listen to him.

"She can never be a warrior, thouhj she's my sister, I hate her."

"Look at her legs, they are as short as a mouse tail!"

That was her brother, he was totally a fox dung. And his bastard friends. She hated him, he always despised her.

"Haha, I will take over the Clans while you watch and weep!"

She tried to think about something else, then Spottedstar yelled.

"One of our kits have reached the age of 6 moons, ready to be apprenticed."

She listened to him in excitement.

"Berrykit, until you receive your warrior name, you'll be known as Berrypaw. I will be your mentor."

Berrypaw walked beside him and touched noses. She heard the Clan calling her new name.

"Berrypaw! Berrypaw!"

She cried tears of joy.

"Berrypaw! Come here!"

She heard her best friend, Rosepaw. She had been apprenticed a moon ago.

They touched noses. Rosepaw congratulated her best friend. Then they walked to Berrypaw's new den.
