Shining Eyes (A Warrior Cats Fic)

Chapter 4

"So, this river is the PineClan border, don't pass this border, PineClan is a dangerous Clan."

Berrypaw and her mentor Spottedstar were by the PineClan border. Though Berrypaw knew the borders, she listened to her mentor carefully.

"A cat from this Clan kidnapped a kit from us when you were born. Hazelstar said no cat did it, but I don't believe him. We need to destroy his Clan."

Berrypaw stared at him, eyes wide open.

"And a PineClan cat had got lost at the same day, isn't it weird?"

She thought for a second.

"Maybe that cat stole the kit then ran away."

Spottedstar's eyes widen at Berrypaw's intelligence.

"That's sensible Berrypaw! You impress me!"

Berrypaw smiled lightly.

Spottedstar sighed. "Let's keep going, you'll learn MoonClans's bor-"

He was interrupted by a group of cats walking towards them from PineClan territory, hissing.

A russet tom with white face and legs hisses.

"Why are you in our territory?!"

Berrypaw showed her claws, glancing at them fiercefully, ready to fight. Spottedstar didn't even flinch, he walked towards the cat.

"This is my territory, remember when I won the last battle? This is mine now. And I will destroy your Clan and take your all, you fox-dung."

Russet tom hissed at him. Spottedstar jumped on him and clawed his ear. The russet tom gasped in pain as blood spilled.

The cat bit the DawnClan leader's hind leg. The leader hissed fiercefully and raised his bloody claw and blew it against the tom's belly but missed.

Berrypaw watched the fight terrified, didn't know what to do. She tried to think but a jet-black cat jumping on her interrupted her thoughts. She hissed as the she-cat bit her ear.

She hissed wildly and give all her power on her claws and attacked the warrior's shoulder. Blood spilled on the cat's shoulder.

The cat cried in pain and ran away. Berrypaw took the fighting position as a gray cat ran towards her but a meow stopped the cat.

"Stop fighting!"

A deep voice caught The PineClan cats' attention. Berrypaw glanced at Spottedstar. His shoulder and hind leg was covered in blood.

Though he fought so hard, he was ready to fight even more, more to take down all the Clans.

Berrypaw shivered at the thought of this. She shrugged it off and gave her attention to the black tom with white spots, and green eyes.

"Stoneclaw, Dustwhisper, come here! Spottedstar, why did you attack them?"

"They wanted to invade my territory! Why don't you watch your cats Hazelstar?!"

"I'll talk to them later, but you don't have the right to just attack you mouse-dung!"

The PineClan leader was ready to attack at any time.

"Please stop!"

Everyone looked at Berrypaw.

"Just discuss it on the next Gathering please!"

Hazelstar hissed.

"Don't you poke your nose into everything you fox-dung!"

Spottedstar walked towards him, claws showing, tail swinging angrily.

"Don't insult my apprentice, you little-"

"Spottedstar! Spottedstar, Mistysight is giving birth!"

The Clan deputy, Whitepatch interrupted the argument. DawnClan leader lifted his ears, ignoring the hissing PineClan leader.

"Oh dear StarClan, she is fine right?"

Whitepatch nodded.

Spottedstar turned his head to Hazelstar.

"Watch your cats Hazelstar, I could've killed them."

He swung his brown spotted tail, motioning Berrypaw to follow him. Soon he started to run towards the Clan camp.

Berrypaw followed him with Whitepatch, leaving Hazelstar staring at them.
