Keeping her introduction to communication textbook written by John Okpoko she decided to answer the call, well at least she missed 11 of his calls and he's still not letting her read for the test she's having next week so she decided to hear what the problem is. "Assamalu alaykum" she received the call with  anger in her voice. "Who died or who had an accident that you are disturbing me?" she almost yelled at him trying to control her anger. He chuckled replying her with "haba boddoji(beauty) cant i call and ask my baby how she is again?" he said in a low voice. She hissed internally and rolled her eyes saying "boddoji indeed" he greeted and asked about her well being as if she were a small girl. After the "boring greetings" and all he decided to man up and said "are you free tomorrow? jango mi nastan Kaduna mi yidi mi wara mi lare(I'll be in Kaduna tomorrow so i wanna drop and see you)" he waited for a reply but got none so he decided to call her name "Zainab!" he said very loud and with the same tune as his she said "yes Aliyu!" he was shocked, never in her life has she called his real name but here she is saying it boldly with no fear at all. "I am doomed" he said in his mind before she cut him with "I see no reason why you'll drop by and see me so, don't ever ask such questions again and if you don't have anything important to tell me please stop calling me" with that she ended the call sighing.

No matter how hard she tries to hate him her "annoying heart" always deny her that privilege. She hissed turning to pick her book when she remembered her rice on fire. "Ya Salam!" she said and rushed to the kitchen coz well she's having serious cough and catarrh so she cant perceive anything, her nose is blocked. Thanking God that she remembered on time she fetched small rice,  went back to her small room and sat down on the bed thinking about her life and how everything changed. Well, its not as if she fully enjoyed her childhood but she still thanked God and her teenage life, well it was average. Marriage life hmmmmm she shook her head and ate the rice while reading her book. A knock on the door ended her sweet dream, she stood up trying to remember how she slept and saw her book lying down on the floor she laughed and shook her head saying "sleep wont come until i am in the mood for reading abi?" she opened the door and in came her roommate/friend Amina who eyed her and entered saying "seto mi silli ha bandu am on hakkilo ma walata ko Diddi? (your mind won't be at rest until i pee on my body right Diddi?)" as she hurried to the toilet, did her business and came out to meet Zainab with a plate of rice and cold pure water in her hands, she smiled and said "better for you to bribe me coz you wasted my time, I've been knocking for almost 5 minutes" Zainab (Diddi) just smiled and said sorry "doidi on hosi am (i slept off)".
