And we have enjoined on man doing good to his parents; with trouble did his mother bear him and with trouble did she bring him forth; and the bearing of him and the weaning of him was thirty months; until when he attains his maturity and reached forty years, he says: My Lord! grant me that I may give thanks for the favor you have bestowed on me and on my parents, and that I may do good which pleases you and do good to me in respect of my of my offspring; surely I turn to Thee, and surely I am of those who submit. (Qur'an 46, 15).The month of September in Zaria City is not convenient for students(serious students)😝. It is always raining as such they miss most of their lectures.
Diddi decided to sleep in the hostel today because she cant afford to miss tomorrows test. Dr Yahya( the lecturer whom she missed his test) decided to give a makeup test surprising them all.
He said he'll give them the makeup because "majority of them failed" and he hates it when his students fail woefully. To say the students were beyond surprise when he told them is and understatement.
To our lovely Diddi, she believes it is the power of prayers, tahajjud and fasting. which of the favors of your Lord do you deny?
YOLA, NIGERIA.
"Useni vallitam(please help me) wallahi I will never ever repeat the mistake I made before. Don't punish me this way Hajja. I realised that whoever obeys his parents will see good and wallahi my life has never been the same since what I did to Zainab" he came down from the chair kneeling down in front of his mother.
She took hold of his two hands and smiled, a smile of pity to her one and only son. "Love is really a strong thing" she thought. She raised all her children to be easy going and respectful but Haydar gave her a tough time. Seeing him like this broke her heart but she cant break the promise she made to herself never to interfere in Haydar and Diddi's case. Diddi should decide and whatever happens she'll be okay with it. She loves Diddi the same way she loves Haydar and their happiness matters alot to her but once beaten twice shy, she has learnt her lesson.
Haydar disgraced her, he made her mad even though she has forgiven him since and the worst part is Diddi did not even tell her most of the things he did to her to which she is grateful.
"Hajja am say something please. Help me beg her, convince her for me please" Haydar looked lost at the same time pleading with his eyes.
"Aliyu! both of you are my children and I more than anyone want you two to be together but I have promised myself I will never ever discuss this issue with Diddi. I want you to keep on praying, leave everything in the hands of the Almighty and He will make the best choice for the two of you. Be strong for this marriage, be strong for us and don't lose hope".
Aliyu sighed losing hope. His mother just wont understand. He had a very bad dream. The worst dream he ever had as far as he can remember in his life. He dreamed his boddoji took him to court asking for divorce which the judge ordered him to and she got married to some idiot at the same spot. This dream made him leave Abuja early in the morning yesterday, he needed his mother. The dream made him sick, it brought back memories he wished never happened, memories of times he acted like a monster.
Sometimes he tries to imagine his immediate elder sister Adda Sa'ada going through what Diddi went through in his house. God knows he will slaughter Khalil her husband and serve him to the dogs in his neighborhood in Abuja had it been he did what he did to Diddi to his sister.
Things like this make him think that karma will never ever allow Diddi come back to his house.
He knows he will never love a woman the way he loves her right now and he is ready to fight for her no matter what it takes. He needs to be selfish. With this he decided to go to his uncle, Diddi's father.
