I would like to take this time to share with you something I truly believe. I believe that our world has to change. In order for humans to survive for as long as possible, we must start actually fucking solving our problems.

I live in the United States, and I am white, female, and bisexual, so I constantly see and hear sexist/racist/homophobic jokes, and I silently weep for this world. We have lost what it means to be human. We constantly say we are above animals, that we are smarter than them, and that we are the ultimate force on this planet, but every. fucking. day, I see shit that proves to me that that is just bullshit. We aren't any better than animals. We may have been at one point, but we certainly aren't now. Now, our governments build giant weapons capable of taking down armies is seconds, capable of destroying millions of lives in less than a day, but they create waste that we can't get rid of without serious consequences to ourselves and the environment around us. Every time those that rule our countries meet with others for peace meetings, they are most likely going to end in failure. Every year, more taxes go into funding the military than funding schools, or charities, or homeless shelters. In the United States, around 1.56 million people are homeless. That's 0.5% of the population, and according to the National Runaway Safeline, between 1.6-2.8 million youth run away from home each year in the United States, that's between 4,383-7,671 youth a day.

Everyday, I see people of all kinds living on the streets, getting into accidents, hurting others, or being hurt by others. Every time the news comes on, I can't stand to listen because I know that it's just going to be more bad news. No, we aren't better than animals. We don't deserve to say that anymore. We are certainly more advanced than they are in terms of technology, but we are destroying our home more and more with every scientific break through, with each mile driven to or from work, school, or other places. Animals are smarter than us because they only take what they need to survive. Nothing more, nothing less. The president of the United States of America is Donald Trump, and multi billionaire with enough negative qualities to turn the already failing States into a laughing stalk. He managed to insult his way into the oval office, and he's managed to insult and bribe his way through two years of his four year election period. Not only that, he's raised his children to believe in the ideals that he follows, which makes things worse.

He says he respects women? HA! Where was that respect when he had an affair with another woman? Where was that respect when he's made lewd comments on the female form? Where was that respect when he made unwelcome advances towards many women that he's interacted with throughout the years? To me, Trump is a fucking stain on the United States and the white race. I won't apologize for his behavior since he feels no remorse for what he does, but I will promise that not all of us are as big of assholes as he is.

He says he respects the minority races, that they're his friends? He feels nothing for those he has nothing to gain things from. Where was that respect when he used the idea of building a wall along the United States' southern border to keep those who wanted a better life out of a country of supposed freedom? Where was that freedom when he described Mexicans as rapists? Where was that respect when he said, and I quote: "Black guys counting my money! I hate it. I think that the guy is lazy. And it's probably not his fault, because laziness is a trait in blacks." Where was that supposed respect when he urged that the death penalty be used on five black and Latino teenagers that were accused of the rape of a white woman in Central Park, even in 2016, more than 10 years after DNA testing had proven that they were innocent?!
