My heart won’t calm down. It was beating this way since he kissed me. I can’t concentrate. Thankfully he went out to grab us some dinner.
Just then my cellphone buzzed.
Taeyong: Lisa I’m sorry we got a problem.
Lisa: What is it?
Taeyong: I can’t go with you tomorrow. Something came up. I auditioned to this brand and the called me to walk in the fashion runway. I’m so sorry.
Lisa: Its okay oppa. I can just go with Rosé.
Taeyong: I’m really sorry.
After saying sorry for the hundredth time I assured Taeyong that its really fine. Its not even important to have a date. We’ll its kind of a big deal for me actually because they’re going to tease all night for not bringing a date.
I texted Rosie and Jennie SOS.
Jennie unnie called me first.
“What’s wrong Lili? Why did you send the emergency code?” Jennie asked
“Unnie huhu Taeyong oppa bailed one me.”
“Umm what?”
“Taeyong oppa has something to do tomorrow so he couldn’t go with me.”
Just then the door opened and Jungkook came inside.
“Hey are you done? I brought you these.”
I signaled my finger to keep him quiet.
“Unnie I’ll call you later when I get home. Taehyung oppa is trying to stress me out by letting me make a report which is due before eight. Bye.”
After the call Jungkook and I ate silently. It was kinda awkward since the kiss but at the same time it’s a nice feeling.
“So are you done?” He asked
“Yeah just going to email it and we’re finally going home.” I replied
I was caught of guard when he suddenly got a hold of my hand.
“We’re okay though, right?” he asked. I don’t know how to respond to that but at least he knows why we became like this so I just shrugged my shoulders “Of course we’re okay you idiot.”
After we finished the report we went hope Jungkook has this creepy smile on his face when we went out.
Arriving home I hurriedly send the report to Taehyung oppa. I texted Jennie unnie that I arrived at home and she called me.
“So you don’t have a date for tomorrow?” She immediately asked
“I’m going solo tomorrow unnie. Its okay I don’t need a date anyway.” I said sadly
“Yah I picked that dress for you so that your date could show you off. I didn’t picked that dress for nothing.” She argued
“I’m sorry unnie. But the party is tomorrow I don’t have time find an instant date.”
“If you don’t have a date then I’m going to bail at Taehyung too so I could go with you.”
“No unnie. I swear I’m okay. You don’t have to do that.” Assuring her that its really okay because I know my cousin is going to give me evil eyes for stealing her date
“Don’t worry unnie. Lets just sleep and stop worrying about me.”
“Okay of you’re so sure. Bye.”
So I’ll be going solo tomorrow. I wonder if Jungkook has a date tomorrow. Well if he doesn’t have then I guess we’ll be together in that evening.
My mind always drifted to that kiss. What the hell is he thinking at that time. I was left dumbfounded. Maybe I should’ve slapped him. Maybe he’s thinking that I like it.
