Felix was leaving and Changbin was kind of sappy about it. He was happy that Felix would get to pass Christmas with his family for the first time in a few years. But he was sad because he knew that he would miss his boy during the time he was going to expend in Australia. Felix would be there for 15 days to say it correctly. From December 17th, to January 2nd.Sadly, tho, Felix didn't allow Changbin to accompany him to the airport with the excuse that he already had to pay for the taxi to take him there and that Changbin couldn't be expending money on stupid things. So, instead of saying goodbye to his boyfriend at the airport like in all those cliché movies, Changbin was at Felix and Hyunjin's apartment. The taller one had left only a few minutes ago, after being sure of saying bye to Felix, because he had an appointment in some place Changbin didn't remember.
"Did you take out your passport already?" Changbin asked Felix as he entered a pair of shoes in his suitcase.
"Not yet," Felix answered, struggling to close the zipper. Changbin walked to him and held down both sides of the suitcase so Felix would be able to pull the zipper more easily.
"Are you sure this isn't over the weight limit?" Changbin questioned, a little bit of worry on his face.
"Don't worry, it seems like it's too full because it is smaller than other suitcases," Felix smiled.
Changbin gave him a suspicious look and then sighed, "If you say so..." he raised both hands, giving in. "Where did you say that your passport is?"
"I didn't say it," Changbin gave him an annoyed look and Felix replied with an innocent smile. "It's in a bag at the end of my closet, can you get it for me?"
"Of course," Changbin moved to the left side of the room and opened the door, taking out a small grey bag where he found a few others of Felix's legal documentation. He took out the blue passport and looked at Felix. "Did you do the online check-in?" Felix nodded.
Changbin went back to Felix and handed him the passport. Felix smiled at him and pulled his suitcase to the floor, ready to drag it to the living room.
"Can you help me with the backpack?" Felix asked.
"Uh huh," Changbin walked to the other side of the bed and took Felix's white backpack with him. They walked to the living room together and then the Lee went for a glass of water, offering one to Changbin on his way.
"Are you sure you're not missing anything?" Changbin asked and Felix chuckled.
"Binnie, you sound like my mom," Felix said and put his glass away. He walked over to Changbin and placed his hand on Changbin's cheek. "Please, take care of yourself while I'm away," he stroke the older's cheek carefully. "I promise the fifteen days will be over soon and you will have me running back to you in a second."
Changbin smiled, a smile that was both sad and full of love. Felix had become his entire world in only seven months or so. But Changbin wasn't complaining about it, because Felix had come to his monotone life as a ray of sunshine that made him feel warm and loved. So he nodded, he would be waiting for his little sun to come back as soon as possible.
The sound of a horn took them out of their precious moment and both of them turned towards the window, seeing the taxi waiting for Felix outside.
"Let's go," Changbin said, taking Felix's suitcase and dragging it with him to the door. Once outside, the taxi driver opened the trunk and Changbin placed the suitcase inside.
When he closed the trunk, Felix was standing in front of the door yet closed of the taxi. Changbin walked to him and hugged him tightly, trying to demonstrate to the younger one how much he would miss him and how much he was already missing him. Felix hugged him with just as much passion as Changbin was doing. When they separated, none of them was sure of what to say or do. So Changbin grabbed Felix's face, pulled him closer, and kissed him.
Not like any other kiss they had shared before. It was a kiss full of so many emotions that Felix felt overwhelmed for a few seconds. That kiss was clearly saying I love you in all the possibles forms and shapes. And also saying a 'come back soon, I need you' so strongly, that for a second or two, Felix thought about staying there, in that one moment, forever.
Ten minutes later, Changbin entered his own apartment. Noticing how lonely it felt not to have Woojin there to complain about how much he would miss Felix. But he would definitely make sure of doing so as soon as the older one arrived.
Changbin went to his room, looking around at the mess that this was and deciding that doing some cleansing would help keep his mind distracted. He took the few clothes that were on his bed and threw them at the dirty laundry basket. He did his bed. And he took his trash can, where only a few things were thrown.
He walked to the kitchen with his trash can on hands. In the kitchen were the bigger recycling bins and so Changbin started to separe the trash.
He was about to throw his old calendar on the paper's bin when the color of the ink staining a few of the pages called his attention. He passed the first two pages that were only stained, but that weren't the center of the ink. The ink came from a circled date in the page of December.
December 17th, was marked with red ink in the calendar.
"December 17th?" Changbin thought out loud, confused. Why had he marked the date Felix was leaving in his old calendar? Had Felix told him about his vacations plans at th—
The sudden realization made Changbin gasp and drop the calendar, which fell to the floor with a dry sound as Changbin leaned to the kitchen's plateau, preventing himself from falling too.
